We (sniff, sob) checked out this AM. This was a last minute trip (less than 2 weeks in the planning)...we got 3 nights at the CBR and 3 nights at the CR Tower on AP discounts.
CBR was our first stay at a moderate...and for $74/night it was quite nice. Spent most of those days in the parks, so not much time at the resort, but room was nicer than I expected and bus service was fine.
Tuesday AM we moved to CR Tower...this is DH's favorite resort and after this stay I have to agree. We were in 4635 (10th floor, park view). Rooms are huge and the view was to DIE for....castle right there, Seven Seas Lagoon, Poly and GF in the distance. I sat there for hours watching the ferries and monorails. We were all on the balcony every night for Wishes (just incredible). I fell asleep every night withe the drapes open so I could watch the castle change colors....and what an incredible view to wake up to every AM.
We had totally positive experiences there. Everyone from Mousekeeping to staff in the Food and Fun Center, to Guest Services were SUPER.... I think it was about our best stay ever (21st trip). In the past I have felt that the resort was not always kept up as nice as some of the others, but every detail was picture perfect this time.
The hotel was hopping...lots of conventions, etc and the shops and restaurants were always packed, but when you walk in your room and shut the door it is a world away.
Wish I was going back next week!!
