Just back...

I wanted to report that Boatwrights dinner menu was completely changed from the one posted here on the DIS. Not sure if they have a new chef or not, but the food was awesome.

It worried us when we first reviewed the menu, but it worked out great as we ended up eating there twice for dinner. MUCH BETTER THAN LeCellier all the way around!!!!! I'll post my review on the other thread. I would tell anyone to go eat here. I don't think it can be beat.

Anyway - Allears has the correct updated menu.

Thanks for that -I`ve always enjoyed b/f there and had one terrible dinner a few years ago. maybe time to give it a second chance!
What did you have?

Thanks for posting that! DH and I will be at POR next month. There is a probelm with the menu at All Ears though....

Pasta with Shrimp, Pasta with Chicken, and Vegetarian Pasta all list the exact same ingredients although they are three different prices! :confused3

Long as they still have the Jambalaya and Cornbread I would be happy!popcorn::

I had the Grilled Filet Mignon - served with Crawfish Hollandaise (on the side, but was tasty) and Three-Cheese Hash-Brown Potatoes. It was all melt in your mouth good. That is why I'm comparing to LeCellier. They have stepped up their menu and I think they offer a much better steak than LeCellier.

The cornbread is great and so are their salad and crawfish appetizers.

I'm now wishing I was back there for dinner tonite!

They must have changed the menu since we were there in September. Our steak was terrible...it was grizzly, fatty and overcooked.

Do you remember if there were any Fish Entre's on the menu?

They only offer the filet now and prime rib. I don't know about the prime rib, but the filet was excellent on two different nights.

I'm not sure why that's a problem? Shrimp is more expensive than chicken; any protein (i.e. shrimp or chicken) is more expensive than no protien (i.e. the vegetarian version).
