pirate: Returned from the 4 day cruise, then spent 4 days at WDW. Everything was wondrful, of couse, except our stateroom.
We were in Category 9, Room 2152. It is the rearmost portside cabin on Deck 2, and a long walk from stairs and elevators. We didn't mind the walk so much, but we did not appreciate the noise. The cabin is next to a storage room and there was loud banging each evening in the late hours while crew members bumped the walls as they stored large boxes. A knock on the door got no response, and although Customer Services dispatched someone to investigate, they were too late. The same racket was repeated on 2 subsequent evenings.

Avoid cabin 2152!

Thats a shame, but I am glad to hear that they tried to do smothing about it.

Yep...it's one of those listed on the "noisy list" .

We didn't have that room, but we had its mirror image, 2652. I didn't mind the walk at all and it was always easy to find our room. It was rather noisy though. We didn't have the storage room noise, but on two of the nights around midnight we did have lots of loud music. I never could figure out where that was coming from. Still, it was much better being there than at home.

We always opt for cat 9, aft staterooms on deck 2....However, we prefer the ones near the aft elevators, particularly in range of 2608-2620 or 2108-2620...Quiet and oh so convenient...On one of our first cruises, before I knew any better, we got stuck with 2520, IMO the noisiest stateroom on the ship...directly below one of the clubs....loud, thumping music all night....
