Just back from a great week at WDW. For TS, we ate at dinner at Spoodles, Chef Mickey's, Brown Derby, 50's PT, and Jiko. We ate breakfast at CRT. If anyone has any ?'s about these places, I'd be happy to try to answer them. We had very positive experiences at all of them!

i am especially interested in the brown derby...

is it worth 2 TS credits?

how's the food?

what'd you get?

Thanks.

Ms. H

I am thinking about an ADR for Spoodles for DBF and myself when we come down in December...how was it? I have been hearing mixed reviews and am a bit skeptical about making the ressie. :confused3 How was the menu? Were there alot of different options? I'm somewhat of a non adventerous eater and don't like to try alot of new, different things whereas DBF will try anything once! Your input would be appreciated! :hippie:

holcomb-mania: Jiko is our absolute favorite! This time it was just DH & me, but we have brought the kids there twice in the past. Our kids are picky eaters and they've always found something they like. You can't go wrong with Jiko!

Ms. Heimlich: This was my 3rd time at the Brown Derby. The food was very good. I got filet mignon, one of my friends got the vegetarian tofu dish (which she said was the best meal she's ever had in Disney), and another friend got a couple of appetizers as her meal. We don't do the dining plan, so I don't know how credits work, so I can't answer that one for you.

natalielongstaff & TINKB72: The food at Spoodles was good, but I did find the menu to be very limited. Plus, I was hoping for fettuccine alfredo, which is what I had last time I was there, but it was no longer on the menu. I had beef kabobs and they were good, not great, but enjoyable enough.

I hope this helps!

Chef Mickey's was good. It's nothing special, but decent for a buffet. We all liked the prime rib and the parmesan mashed potatoes. The food is really secondary for us. The kids had a ball and that's what it's all about when we go to CM.

At CRT, Cinderella was in the lobby for photos. Upstairs in the restaurant we saw Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, and the Fairy Godmother.

How far is the Contemporary from Magic Kingdom? I'm just wondering because we have reservations for Club Mickey's.

Hop on the monorail from the MK and it will take you directly to the Contemporary, where you can go to Chef Mickey's.
