My family, DH, DS12 and I just returned from a 10 day trip to Disneyland. We were lucky enough to get Dreamed on the very last day!
With 10 days, we had actually done just about everything in both parks at least once (Jedi Training Academy never worked out in our schedule and we missed the Tarzan Treehouse).
On the afternoon of our last day, we were in California Adventure preparing on one last ride on California Screamin' before dinner at Club 33 and I stopped to pin trade with a nice Cast Member. Well, it turns out that she was a member of the Dream Squad and she asked where we were from (Maryland) and how long we were going to be in California (today is our last day).
She asked what things we had missed doing and we said that we had done everything except Splash Mountain and Fantasmic because we found that we could get a lot of the attractions done while others were watching Fantasmic. She asked if we would be interested in
"Special Premium Seating" for Fantasmic and we were excited, but a little bit worried because we were meeting up with friends for dinner and had planned to view Fantasmic as a group.
She asked if we could wait a few minutes while she made a phone call to see if they could accommodate the 7 of us, so we waited. She came back in just a few minutes with a certificate made out to me saying that we had this special seating.
We had a large area in front of Pirates of the Caribbean and a little to the left (if Pirates is at your back), near a large bank of lights. The area was roped off and when we checked in about 20 minutes prior to the show we were told that there was a total of about 25-30 people expected. Well, the area was HUGE!! We all sat very comfortably on the ground and had the perfect view of the entire show!!
It was the perfect ending to a wonderful trip!!
