We just came home from a quick little 4 day trip to WDW. The cast includes myself, DW (who can be a bit picky) and DD (who is four and really pretty much eats anything). So we arrived on Wednesday 9/12 and decided to give WCC another try. We originally had an ADR at 1900 for dinner, but bailed when we learned that it was a pre-plated dinner. That turned out to be bit of a mistake. We checked in a little early and were seated with in 10 minutes. Our waiter was "Right Neighborly" who may want to consider changing his name to "Plain Boring". More on him later. Dinner started wiht an ice cold heineken poured perfectly into a frosted mug (by me of course) I ordered the skillet, DW ordered the wings as an app and the meatloaf for dinner. DD had the kids pasta. Corn bread, salad, and the wings came out all came out with in five minutes of each other. The salad was of good size and tasty, but c'mon its salad. Fortunately DW liked the taste I gave her enough to share her wings. Now those were really good. Almost worth the trip over, almost. Our entrees came out a short while later. DD loves pasta so she was in her glory. The first skillet came out and I would say the food was ok. The pulled pork and chicken were good, the ribs on the other hand had been cremated. Peel and eat shrimp? When did peel and eat shrimp become "cowboy food"? DW said her meatloaf was dry and had to ask for exta gravy so she could eat it. I asked that little bundle of energy waiter we had for some more ribs and by the time they came out I really didn't want them anymore. Speaking of our waiter, now half of the appeal to this place is the antics. I think he may have dropped a napkin on our table, but that might have been on accident. Every other table looked like they were having a party, except neighborly's. So in closing if your looking for sub par B-B-Que, I would go back. And if you want a quite dinner their, just request ""Right Neighborly" and you'll be fine.

Coming soon: How long would you wait for Pooh?

Thanks for the info.! Is this about Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge? I was thinking of trying it (and kind of still want to) although it seems all I see are bad reviews! lol! I guess you never learn until you actually go through it yourself. :P Thanks again!

Ok. So It's our first full morning and we are off to MK for rope drop. It's am EMH so we are really going to hungry for our 10:20 adr at CP. Crowds are no where to be seen, except by the Haunted Mansion which is having it's grand re-opening (yes they did a good job, but that's a different thread). Now I'm a rule follower when the CM amking my adr says please arrive before your time to check in I'm doing as I'm told. So we arrive at CP 10 minutes early and check in. And we wait, and wait, and wait. Seriously it was the longest wait we had the entire trip. What really got me where the people who showed up at or after their time were seated before me. So much for following the rules. Once inside the food or characters did not disappoint. The egg fritatta was great and this northern boy can not get enough of biscuits and sausage gravy. Pooh and the boys were great although Piglet never made his way over. That's ok because we were coming back for dinner another night. The one draw back was we probably sat down close to 11a.m. so they closed one half of the buffet to get ready for lunch. Although our waitress said if we were still hungry we could help ourselves to the lunch side. We didn't of course, but it was a nice thought.
