Hi everyone,
We just got back and had another wonderful stay at Disney. We were at CSR the whole time and can't wait to go back.
CSR is a great resort for us. We find it relaxing, clean and very pretty. Our room was in the Cabanas 8A which is right next to the main pool and only a 5 minute walk to the main building. We had a standard view which consisted of woods and another building, it was fine. We were close to a bus stop and had good bus service. I have to say the only thing I can comment that is negative is about mousekeeping. We felt they came in and touched up, but not really cleaned. I don't think this is just at CSR I think mousekeeping at all the resorts is slipping. This will not keep us from going back.
The PepperMarket at CSR is great. It is one of our favorite places to eat for a CS. You get your moneys worth here. The chef was also great for my daughter's allergies.
The parks were good. We felt this year was a little busier then last year at the same time. There was anywhere from 10-20 minute waits, except for toy story which was 2 hours. The parks were clean all the CMs were nice I forgot that Star Tours was down, oops.!!!!!
We got to see Wishes at the Desert Party. For us it was the best money we spent. The view and the deserts were awesome. I would do this again. We loved wishes it was our fist time seeing it. We also saw Fantasmic which I was a little disappointed from what I thought it would be. We wouldn't wait for it again. I did miss the electric light parade due to rain, which was a bummer.
I did test track and expedition everest for the first time, that was exciting. My 8 (DD) did Summit Plummet and expedition everest for the first time.
ME was fantastic great transportation to and from the airport.
Finally got to Downtown Disney for awhile and enjoyed the shops.
All our meals were good and we were pleasantly surprised with some new restaurants.
Overall it was a great trip and we can't wait to go back.
