Requested toy story but 5 months ago they changed it to a preferred blg now. So we stayed in mighty ducks (which was good b/c close to the only pool opened. So glad we flew and used disney transportation. PLace is so big that it would be easy to get lost. Plus busses take you to entrance.
Many of the mickey ears hats had no strings? Why? How are they supposed to stay on your head? I did not get my children mickey hats and i wanted to so badly but my son at first did not want one (4) and the youth for girls had no strings so i would not stay on her head (2). I have an idea for next time i go. I just hope i remember it then.
I thought of a great idea the day before we left. Went to dollar store and got 2 photo albums. (big enough for 1 picture on each side). On the left side i had the character sign his/her signature and on the right side i put their picture. It only cost 1.00 each.
Had free dining and it was amazing the amount of food. We shared many and was still too food. Didn't use any of our snacks and had to get alot at the last day to take home.
Just an fyi- i am not a picky eater. I can eat anything. If i say it is ok. that means i liked it but not oh my gosh this is so good.
2 Favorite places to eat: BOMA- excellent food! Chef mickeys for b-fast- excellent food.
Whispering Canyon was ok. We were able to get the milkshakes for drink, skillet for meal and a dessert to take home on the DDP. The milkshakes and chocolate cake - to die for!
Coral reef was neat inside but food was only ok for me. Had tuna and crab claws. Lobster soup good but a little cheesey.
Crystal palace for lunch was ok. Wasn't all that impressed with the food, but the atmosphere was great.
Hoop de doo- was great.
Counter service at epcot- sunshine at the Land- excellent vegetable sandwich and desserts (on the ddp) are great. They are beautiful and hard to choose from.
Maybe i picked the wrong days to go to the parks but i thought it was crowded. Lines for some rides around 40-75 minutes. Very few were walk ons'. This was our first time at disney and i was expecting very little lines so i was disappointed with that. Loved the 3-D shows.
Favorite is epcots shrunk the audience! Mission space - amazing! Everest- Amazing! illuminations- amazing! ! Rock and Roll rollercoaster- coolest ride! The rides are neat as they all have a story. The roller coasters were fun, not as fast and wild as hershey park in PA, but better in they all have a story and the effects are amazing. They were not as jerky.
Was not impressed with fast track at epcot. Some of the parts i felt were dull. I wish they whipped you around faster. I felt going over the bumpy parts were boring and they could have taken that out. I don't know why this ride is that popular, but that is just me. was not that impressed with soarin. It may be b/c i was in the bottom row and i could see the side of the window so it felt more like a ride than me actually in the air. May have been better if i was in the second cart.
I feel that 8 days is not enough and would probally do 10-12 next time. So we can relax more days and maybe spend 2 days at each park. I'm the kinda gal who likes to see and do it all. I drive my husband crazy. he is the one laggy behind.
