Just back- 9/17-9/20- First trip for WDW vet- food/ride reviews & general comments

This is funny to me, because I feel the exact opposite. CS is much smoother and RNRC is way too jerky for me. I can ride CS over and over, where as RNRC is once and done. My head hurts after that one.

I was going to say the same thing. I mean, we did ride RNRC three times in a row so that may have contributed to it, but we once road Screamin 8 times in 30 minutes and were still ready to go on it again. It is interesting the different takes on the different parks. I for one find Indy to be leaps and bounds better than Dinosaur, but that is just me.

Sorry but a review that does not place Pirates at DL as heads and shoulders, undeniably better than MK's is just ludicrous. IASW and BTMRR are also better, though not by the HUGE, WIDE margin of Pirates.

I explained my reasoning. Almost all of the additional scenes are boring imo.

Yes, you like MK's Pirates better. Everyone has personal preferences. But it's still not the better version.

Aw, c'mon, play nice. I didn't agree with basically any of the OP's opinions, but that doesn't invalidate them. The OP said "Y'all are probably going to hate us for this... but we think this version is a little bloated. We're used to the WDW version, which is basically the "Greatest Hits" version of this ride. Other than the part at the end with the pirates on the cannons, which I think is a worthy part of the ride that should be in the WDW version, I think WDW's version took out all of the fat." Personal opinions of what she likes and doesn't like. This isn't ludicrous. It's called a personal take on an amusement park ride. There are no facts when deciding which ride is better than which- it's all simply opinions, and everyone is welcome to have their own. I don't think it's very kind to take someone to task for their personal take on a ride. You saying it's better isn't unequivocally true, it's just your own differing opinion, and the OP is just as entitled to hers as you are to yours.

JMHO

Thank you. I'm fine with differing opinions, and can certainly understand why most people like the DLR version better, but to come into my thread and call my detailed opinion "ludicrous" just because you don't agree with it isn't cool. Note that not once did I say the DLR version was objectively worse, but that we prefer the WDW version and here's why.

Totally understandable... you can like the WDW version better for no reason at all, and that's cool too. :) It's just your opinions and feelings about a freaking ride, and you are certainly entitled to them. I prefer DLR to WDW, but that's just because of preference.... WDW is awesome, too, and many people prefer it to DLR for lots of very logical or not so logical reasons, but it's all good. We all love Disney, and we can agree on that!
