Just Back 7 nights Poly Time of our lives!

We just returned yesterday from 7 nights at the Poly! What a great time! Room was excellent Fiji room 3319 over looking the marina, we could see the electrical light parade from the balacony. Had a direct view of space mountain and the Contempary Hotel. We could even see parts of the fireworks at night. The service was great, everyone was friendly. Not a bit of trouble. We have decided we won't go anywhere else!

Thanks for that great review and it's great to see more people posting how they just had great stays at the Polynesian, after those threads from others saying how bad it was along with the Cast Members. I realize that no one will like everything about it, so there will be the odd bad review and the people who wrote them are allowed to express how they felt. However during that time I thought the Polynesian really took a bad beating because of them.

We went to both the Kona Cafe and Ohana. Kona Cafe for dinner, to die for and way to much food. It was my mother's birthday that night and without me telling them (must have been on the reservation) they brought out a special desert for her. A plate with happy birthday written on it and a pastry puff on it (a very nice touch). We ate at Ohana for the Stich breakfast, again a great time. They gave us a red lay coming in, which was only for Poly guests. A nice touch and the food was excellent. Nice hot Mickey waffles and a pineapple bread yummy.

We also ate a couple of times at the food court, the food was good really liked the flat bread pizza and the poly salad. We took it right out to the pool and had a nice lunch while we swam.

We just checked into the Poly today, in Aotearoa! We have a great view of the monorails going by, which is sooo cool. The room is beautiful, the staff wonderful! I am just thrilled not to get a parking lot view room for once! We watched Wishes tonight while we swam in the pool - pretty nice touch!

I am so glad you had a nice trip at the Poly. When we go back to WDW, not until 2010 we have already decided that we are going to stay at the Poly. I used to stay there when I was a kid about 20 years ago and have always wanted to stay there since but have been too cheap to do so. Well, I finally got the nod from my DH that we could stay there when we return....and I am going to get that in writing just so if he forgets and wants to stay at CR, he can't

Awesome!! Thanks for posting! We are headed to the Poly in 2 1/2 months for Thanksgiving.. this will be my first stay there and i am so excited!! Glad you had a great time! Care to share some pics?!
