We just got back and I’ve been trying as much as possible today to post all our experiences in the appropriate places, and break it up by topic in order to make it easier to read and find what you are looking for. For example, most of our dining reviews are posted in the restaurant section by each individual restaurant. Now I’m trying to give the general overhaul with the kids and being pregnant. Seems like the stuff pertinent to the family board. If I miss anything, just ask and I’ll be happy to answer.

Having gone pregnant, even as large as I was, was no big deal. I found it no worse than anything at home. However, I do walk 3.5 miles a day. I wore, no matter how it looked, the same pair of shoes I walk in at home. My feet would swell at the end of the day. I brought along a foot therapy thing that you soak your feet in to use at the end of the day and that worked wonders.

I tried to dress in as loose and as comfortable clothing as possible. When I was tired I just tried to take a break. When DH was taking our older son on the rides I was restricted from, I went and collected fast passes for other rides. Our younger son and I just shopped and peopled watched. It was actually pretty enjoyable seeing WDW from a different perspective.

I did ride Kilimanjaro Safari. It was the only ride I even thought of riding that had a restriction. I had talked it over with my OB first. I had been on it before and couldn’t really seem why it was restricted. I didn’t find the bumpiness all that bad. I can say it was definitely worse pregnant. And we rode in the first car; the CM loading us took one look at me, and just put us up there. The CMs in general didn’t seem to bat an eye at my pregnancy, except for the guy collecting fast passes. He kind of questioned me, but didn’t really put up too much of a fight. I have no regrets having ridden it once, but I wouldn’t have done it a second time.

It sounds as if you made out far better than most of the other pg women we saw. Many looked absolutely miserable last week.

Thanks for posting this b/c I will be 6 mos. pregnant when we go in October. I went when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I was only 9 weeks so it was easy. Since we will have our 3 year old with us, we plan on having downtime every day at the hotel anyway so I will be getting plenty of rest.

Thanks again for posting your experience.

Thanks so much for this post!!! I'll be in my 25th week (just about 6 months) when I go in July. I know it'll be MUCH hotter then, but your advice was a big help. I've been on Kila. but have been back and forth on whether I should ride, since they suggest we don't. I'm glad you did, I totally will too. It's one of my very favorites and I really didn't want to miss it. And I had the same plans of collecting fast passes while the rest of the family does the big rides....we're so sneaky, aren't we?! :rotfl2:

I can't think of any quesiton right now, but I'll be sure to be in contact if something pops up in the next 32 days!! Thanks again!!
