In Honesty we never made it back to the concert, Traveling Tigger went back, so hopefully she can fill in with some pictures of that.

Hey Laura, it's great to see your pics! First day back, but hopefully over the weekend I'll get my pics downloaded.

Yes, I waded my way back to the stage, but really couldn't get any closer than Mel's and it was too far away for me to stick it out in that crowd. Saw 2 songs performed on the Jumbotron than gave up and headed to Jellyrolls.

We went and got to the park about 8:00. got caught in the parade crowd and couldn't get over toward the stage till after the parade was over. It was crowded and really smokey-people smoking smokey. We have two kids and it was pretty "close" to have them stuck behind a taller person. We couldn't see the stage but from a little sliver on the side. I'm sure if we have gotten there earlier to be in the pass holder area or closer to the stage it would've been more fun. But we left after about 15 minutes. Valet parking was a zoo it took about 30 minutes to get our car. So I would say the regular parking would be a quicker way out.

I can't imagine what Kelly Clarkson's or NeYo's show will be like. I would think really busy.

Are they trying to get the other stage open for any of the shows? That area will be much better than where the stage is now.

I can't imagine what Kelly Clarkson's or NeYo's show will be like. I would think really busy.

Are they trying to get the other stage open for any of the shows? That area will be much better than where the stage is now.

I'm going over for the Kelly Clarkson show and IT WILL be packed so get there early.

The new stage is supposed to be ready in a couple of weeks and the shows will move over to that area.

Potion Of The Gods... Let me tell you, that's a little slice of heaven here on Earth!

I got me my Razzamatazz!!! And that's the take home glass (they give you a clean boxed one) the drinks are $14.95 but very tasty. I might just have to work on getting a complete set of glasses


And as promised, here is a pic of TT and Me (as well as my DH) waiting just to the right of the entrance to Twister waiting for the parade to start. I thought this was a good location.

And my take for the night (TT and my DH gave me all their beads, Thanks again TT, the kids love them!!)

I can, we were there yesterday before the Mardi Gras but the new stage was open and people were rehearsing on it.

Great photos! Thanks so much for posting them. The AP beads are nice. I only wish we could get down for one of the Mardi Gras weekends this year but it's not going to happen for us.

We last were at USF/IOA at the end of October. I can't believe how much they've gotten finished on the HRRR!

We went over last night for the parade and they were using the new stage, the jumbo-trons make it really nice!

KC and the SunShine Band played last year and started at 8... and I completly flaked when the parade started, but it was near dark and it ended before KC started.

For me it depends on two things...the weather first and the performer second. Even if I'm not crazy about who's performing that night, I still like to come over and watch the parade and have dinner. But not if it's too cold or raining.
