Just arrived back

Well we just got back from WDW. It was our first time and we loved it. We stayed at POP Century and it was great. All the CM's were friendly and helpful. DW and DD liked the tyedye cheesecake but my favourite was the carrot cake. Favourite restaurants were Le Cellier and 50's Prime Time Cafe. We weren't overly impressed with Tusker House as DD didn't like the food.
We only had one bad experience and that was me at Downtown Disney. It was 9:28 am and we were waiting for the shops to open at 9:30. I had to use the washroom and there was a CM cleaning it. She looked at me and said WHAT!!!! I told her I would like to use the washroom and she again in a rude manner says WHAT!!!! I asked again and she says I have to wait till 9:30. Well I must say I used it after I told her that I might just have to go on the floor. I couldn't believe her attitude.
We are looking into doing the Disney cruise next year.

Glad to hear you had a great trip with the exception of the bathroom incident. We are three weeks away from our first trip to WDW and also staying at POP. Was Pop a comfortable stay and which section were you in? I was so undecided about Pop or POR for the longest time, but made a final decision to go with Pop because of a diff of about $1,000. With the extra $ saved we will go see the Cirque show, kids’ surfing lessons, maybe horseback riding or rent a sea raycer. Was there much rain and what time of day did it usually start? We are also thinking of doing the Disney cruise next year.

Demi, you will really enjoy staying at POP. We will stay there again when we return to WDW. Bus service was really good also. Our oldest daughter arrived at WDW today and she and her boyfriend are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. I hope you have a Fantastic Trip.

Glad to hear you had a great stay at POP! Sorry about the bathroom problem, but the rest of the trip seemed to make up for it!! We too are heading down in 3 weeks, for our first stay at POP!

Glad to hear you had a good time. We will be going in October to the Fort and I am so excited. I haven't told my kiddies, because I don't want to hear "when are we going"?. But I find I have to catch myself, because I will start to talk about our trip around other people and realize my kiddies are there!!

Glad you enjoyed your first trip. Isn't it just the best!!! We have enjoyed our stays at POP too. The bathroom incident is not the norm as you very well would have expected from all the other fab. experiences. Maybe she was just having a bad day.
We are taking our first Disney cruise this March. I cannot wait!!

Isn't Pop Century great?!!? We had so much fun there last year..I'm surprised you didn't mention the effects of the tie-dyed cheesecake......let me tell you, my family has always been prone to stomach issues, but I was shocked when I saw what that cheesecake did to my you know what?!?!?!
Ha ha!!!

Glad you had a great time, and don't worry about that bathroom attendant, I would have been upset too, but I always like to be extra special nice to anyone who has to clean a toilet for a living. Not the job at the top of my list!!!

Glad you had fun! We loved POP too. We are booked there again. So much nicer than All-Star Sports, imo. I had a bad experience with a bathroom cleaner at Lotus Blossom Cafe in Epcot....and I was a quite noticeably pregnant lady who really had to pee!
