Just an FYI, the first presidential primary debate is on tonight at 9pm ET (not political, just informative). Please no political comments, I just wanted to put out a friendly reminder for those who were interested in watching it.

It's also being looked at kind like a rehearsal for the RNC convention that is being held in the same place next year. Also congress is in recess so fewer scheduling issues.

I don't know how you guys deal with the seemingly never ending election cycle. Our longest cycle was 78 days and lots of people were complaining that even that was too long.

This is true! Because the term of office for Representatives is only 2 years, I think they start running for re-election just as soon as they are sworn in.
