Just added on 300 pts at OKW direct with Disney at $135 per point thru 2057. Added magical beginnings and that reduced the price to $115 per point.

Got myself a new guide and found out they are sold out. I thought I remembered seeing something about them lowering the discount but since I wasnt closely following Im not sure exactly what it was.

I think they were open to selling more than 299 points at that point, but the incentives just stopped increasing from there so the massive point purchases wouldn't have been any cheaper per point. Now they have shut it down all together it seems

I kept up with it and kept looking, I just couldn't pull the trigger on a bunch of OKW for myself

Are they still offering deals on Aulani every now and then? It’s been a few years but I recall seeing threads where it was sub-$150 depending on point level?

Yes, every once in a while Aulani seems to get a strong offer. But at this point with where they’ve raised the base price, I think $150 might be better than you can hope for.

We got them direct at around $171 for 200 points in Jan 2023 with an extra $1k cruise incentive (that was probably repackaged as welcome home for existing members?) —nobody told us about MB but when we bought VGF later that year it was $22/pt. So basically 18 months ago you could probably get $150 with MB if you bought 200+ points.

It wouldn’t shock me if they eventually let Aulani go under $160 with MB if you’re willing to buy over 300 points—especially if hotel bookings start weakening there…but I also don’t see them doing it during the period where they launch PVB.

Aulani had a similar offer in November 2021. You could purchase direct points for $133 a point with a 300 point purchase. I think you could get 2 years of points if you purchased a December contract as well. I had just started looking at DVC and missed it. DVC has never offered anything similar since then.
