Just a Vent

Ok, so there's this guy in my class that I like. He's one of the "popular" boys and Ive liked him for about a year now.

He's known that I liked him since September, but I didnt know that he knew untill January. In January after I found out that he knew, I went to talk to him about it. He was really nice about it and tried to make me feel better about liking him. But, his friends started to make fun of him (and me) about it. So, now he never talks to me or looks at me. WE have english together and when I walk by him he always looks down. Last week I sat down next to him in the library and he got up and moved away So, the point his he's being really immature.


There's more. Today one of my guy friends told me they heard he wont date me because of his friends and because Im taller then him, besides those two things he actually really likes me. I know that he's immature but I still really like him and I just want to be able to talk to him again. I want him to look at me again and act like I exsist.

Don't rely on some boy to make yourself feel good, hun. He sounds really immature, honestly. You should find some guy who will like/date you no matter what his friends think.

A lot of guys at our age are very immature. I was once told that "I'm the type of girl you marry, not date". Even though it's kinda true, it still sucks to hear.

I've sworn off boys temporarily. Too confusing, too immature, and too time consuming. You'll be better off for now.

And if you ever feel like you're gonna be that old cat lady virgin, you've got a friend in me. I'm 99.999999% sure that'll be me.

My friends keep telling me to move on but its hard to just get over this guy I've liked for a year. Lately, Ive been getting more mad then sad when he does stuff so maybe its a good sign

While he's immature, he's not really any more immature than I'd expect. Wether we like it or not, little things like height and friends do play a big role on who we talk to, even if they're just friends. Don't fret about it. If he's going to be that way, then it's not worth the time at our age.
