I asked one of the guys at work this morning if at 19 or 20 yrs. old shouldn't the stupid drama be over for girls. He said my daughter's 35 and take a look at her facebook page it never stops!! My daughter and her "bestfriend" since jr. high were going to a concert Saturday. Friend ordered the tickets and daughter paid her. They've had a disagreement over a personal decision that my daughter has made. She had told my daughter they could no longer be friends. So I tell her try to talk to her. At least if she feels she can't be around you then not to be enemies and get your ticket! My daughter comes home crying. It seems her friend decided to GIVE her ticket away!!!:headache: She told my daughter I can't give you your ticket because I gave it away and if you give me my video game I'll give you your CD. I swear it sounded like they were back in jr. high school. Daughter has no recourse she has lost 50.00 and hopefully learned to not try with this girl any longer.

I'd give her the video game then demand my CD and $50. Too bad about the concert though.

LOL, I used to work at a senior independent center and there were petty types there in their NINETIES!! :scared1:

I'm convinced it's more of a personality quirk than a age thing. :lmao:

Obviously you don't read these boards very much. There is no age limit on girls and drama. :rotfl:

I would tell my dd that the 50.00 loss was a life lesson. You do not give people money until item is in hand.

While it seems to be an expensive lesson for a 19/20yo, it is really cheap compared to getting ripped off of $$$$ in the future.

Sorry for you dd....

I dont think there is a connection to girls and drama but clearly, don't mix friends and money.

I agree with Robin who said it is about the personality. I never played into the drama when I was a teen and still don't now at 36. However, I have neighbors that are all concerned with who makes the most money, who goes where on vacation, etc then gossips about it. Those are the same girls that were b_ches in high school- it never changes.

Oh absolutely. My Grandmother and her sister (my aunt) were in their late 80s/early 90s and both living in an assisted care facility in separate apartments and there were days that the drama between the two of them caused other residents not to go to the dining room for lunch because of the side-taking!! :rotfl: We did eventually move my aunt out of there (per her request) to give her some breathing room from Grama!

And my daughter is almost 13, I can't stand all the drama and BS going on. :rolleyes1

This is why I prefer to hang with the guys. I'm not into all that drama that surrounds women. It doesn't end at any age. I work with people from 22 well into their early 60s and the ones that cause drama have probably done it their whole life.
