We're flying to Disney World in a few weeks from NY. We're staying at the Dolphin, and I'm wondering; to get to Magic Kingdom, should we take:
1. our rental car
2. a taxi
3. a bus
4. walk through Epcot, to the monorail (I don't really like this one)

Thanks for the help in advance!

If you take the bus you can skip the mob scene at the TTC. The buses drop off right outside the entrance to the MK.

I'm not sure what the right answer is, but I know I wouldn't walk thru Epcot. That's a HUGGGGEEEE walk on top of all the miles you'll walk in the MK.

Honestly, if you have a rental car--- I'd go that route. We always have a rental car, and parking is free at all the parks for onsite guests.
We stayed at the Dolphin this past fall (wonderful resort too!!!), and we drove to MK & AK-- took the boat to MGM & Epcot.

Hi Tink,

It's definitely #1 or #3. We've had a car in the past at the Epcot Resorts and we've still taken the bus. As Mommystieg said above I think it's easier to avoid the TTC and go right to the front gate area of the MK.

A taxi would be expensive and still only get you to the TTC. Walking through Epcot and taking the monorail would take a loooooong time relative to the other ways.

Hope this helps!

Take the bus. Why go to TTC to transfer to a tram.

My first choice would be the rental car and the second choice would be the bus. Yes, when using a rental car, you have to take the monorail to the TTC and then a tram to your car, but when taking the bus, you may wait awhile for an open bus. Just think the rental car gives me more control.
