Hi. I just want to give a pat on the back, and a big thanks to all of the veteran travelers and moderators on this board, for all of the great information you are willing to share with everyone. Especially here in the disabilities part of the board.
I have learned alot from coming here, and everyone seems to have great input in answers to all questions.
The information from here will make the trip so much easier for all of us.

I second that emotion.

We went in Nov for 10 days with DD5 with diabetes. After the kind words on this board, we didn't get a GAC or do anything special - and we were fine.

We go again in August, and heat can really send her into a tailspin. But we'll play it by 'ear' and probably use a morning/evening strategy to deal with heat, and still not go with the GAC.

But boy is it good to know it exists after the thousands of dollars the trip costs. If needed, it will save the day - and we learned about it here!

Thanks from us as well; while we have not yet taken our trip (October 2007) I have learned so many wonderful tips on this board....and have felt vindicated that we are not crazy to think about taking our HFA son to WDW despite all the naysayers
