Hi folks,
Just something to remember when you sign up for a swap or exchange is that you are taking a slight risk by doing it. It is possible that people who sign up, for various reasons may not send their package, postcard or whatever is involved in the exchange. Many people do participate in these exchanges and make the project a fun experience. However, for others the experience is not so pleasant. Many who do not receive their packages are hurt and are turned off of the entire experience and in some cases the DIS Community in general.
Should you for any reason not be able to mail your exchange, please contact the recipient. You do not have to disclose any terms, but just a note saying that your package may be a little late would be a nice gesture to the person involved.
As said, this is just a word of warning. Feel free to do any exchange, but just remember that it is possible that you may be on the giving end and not necessarily on the receiving end.
