Anyone looking to buy The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2009, I have just ordered a copy from WH Smith's online and it was only £8.83 which is the cheapest I could find.

They do charge for P&P if your order is under £15 but you can get it delivered to your local WH Smith store for free which is what I did.

Hope this helps some of you! :)

(Oh and if any of you are Quidco members, you can get 8% cashback as well! :thumbsup2 )

Nice find - we paid full price in Waterstone's a few weeks ago :rolleyes1

Thanks :cool1:

and out of intrest anybody seen
Birnbaum Guides 2009 Walt Disney World Dining Guide???
wondered if it was any good.

Is it £8.83 instore? Sometimes they are a little more expensive instore. If its over £10, I £5 printable voucher off any book over £10 valid until 28th Feb.
Don't think the voucher is still available online but I downloaded to PC. Its now been replaced by this offer. http://whs.emreact.com/aem/clients/WHC001/vouchers/pdf/WHS0769FourVouchers.pdf

Hi Wayne,

I went into store yesterday and it's priced up at RRP (£14.99) so it's still cheaper to order online and pick up in-store.

Ref the query regarding the Birnbaum Dining Guide.

I've got one!!:)

I think it's invaluable for planning. It tells you what the menu options are, how much you can expect to spend, meals served and location. It covers every eating location and also dinner shows. The only food options it doesn't tell you about are the stalls. This version also lets you know where you can use your dining plan tokens. At the back of the book it also lists eateries by style of food for instance where you can get Italian food or buffet meals.

I love it, I've found places in the book I didn't know were there and it's great fun to sit down with the book and plan your ADR's.

Well worth the £5-£6

i'm looking at the dining guide as well as we are doing the dining pan this year for the first time, thansk for the review might go and buy it now

No use for that then. If its any use to anyone for any book £10 or over then PM me email and I will forward the voucher.

Thanks for that I've just ordered a copy and the 2009 Brits guide and got both delivered for £19! :thumbsup2

Plus I read the tip about Quidco so did that. I keep forgetting to use quidco (don't tell wayne I might get detention!:rotfl2: )

100 lines "I must use Quidco every purchase":rotfl:

Is this worth buying now even tho we are not going for a few years.

Does it go out of date much?

They only update little bits of it - I would get it Emma, its the best guide, as it goes into so more detail about the parks, hotel and dining etc.
