We bit the bullet and purchased our airline tix last evening. I realize that SW is now going to offer non-stop r/t to MCO for the summer, but NW is offering a r/t for $137 p/p (tax inclusive) with many time options. Perhaps the competition has NW a bit concerned. The fares were listed as "promo" fares and prior to taxes was around $118 p/p.
I know things can change, but the SW flight times were not to our liking and NW had many others available to book. I was also a bit nervous waiting until SW opened fares for July and whether I would be able to get one of the Fun Fares. I just thought I would give my fellow Michiganders/Nothern Ohio/Indiana folks a heads up on the decent rates.
