I am at the parks now. When walking from Sequoia this morning they were just starting to put the fences up in-front of HNY. When I came back they were all the way along right to cafe mickey side.

However it also seems they have blocked off the river side walk to cheyenne and santa fe, so if you are going to be staying at those hotels be aware your walk back will be longer as you'll have to via sequoia...

It is good to know, but for Santa Fe, it won't make much of a difference? As you have to cross the river eventually.

No, it won't, it will last 1.5 years, but it shouldn't bother you while you're in Sequoia
