Jusr switched to VWL for xmas !

We had reservation at OKW our home resort for 12/23 to 12/28 and switched yesterday for VWL..we stayed there for our Xmas trip last year and loved it..we have had luck switching at 7 months for the last 3 Xmas week trips. We love OKW but do like the location for Xmas and the resort at Xmas is beautiful..so 7 month success rate for us is good....cant wait for arr window..planning now

Congrats! We're staying there for the first time the beginning of Thanksfiving week and hoping to see the Christmas decorations. VWL definitely seems to be the place to stay for the holidays.

Grrrrrr---my 7 month window opened today. Last night they had the nights I wanted at VWL and by today two of the days were gone! Oh well, we are at Bonnet Creek from Dec. 21 to the 28 and SSR from the 28 to Jan. 1. Can't really complain!

I was able to switch our early December reservation at the 7 month mark. I'm so excited to experience the holiday decoration at Disney World and especially at VWL.

You have made a wise choice. We had our first Christmas stay at the Lodge during its first Christmas season in 1994 and have had ten total December visits,stays there since...six of them have been during the Christmas holidays, and each visit is more special than the last one. Especially now since we have our first grandchild, Christmas 2013 with all the family will be the best one yet.

We did the same from SSR to VWL 12/20-12/27. suprised we got it. Saw it available on the on line booking but I called to cancel and switch. Our 1st stay at VWL
