We stayed at Juniper Hill Inn this past weekend and had a fantastic time.

It was our first time at a bed & breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We celebrated my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Everything about the inn was magnificent. The innkeepers, Susanne and Rob are great. They put so much detail in every aspect of the inn, and it truly shows all around.

Let me know if anyone is interested in anymore details. I'll be happy to post.

I love to hear about all our other options. I'd love to hear more if you'd like to share. Where did you eat? At the inn or elsewhere?

Congratulations on your anniversary and a happy birthday, too!

Thank you, Pam.
Unfortunately, we didn't make reservations for dinner prior to arriving so we had to eat elsewhere. We did have the included breakfast which was very good. Each room had a diary where you write a little something about your stay, and just about every entry spoke very highly about the food. The first night we had dinner at the Windsor Train Station, an old converted train station, but Amtrak still uses that line with routes to Montreal, NY, and DC--pretty neat. That is located right in Windsor. The second night we ate at Three Tomatoes in Lebanon, NH--delicious!

The inn is very well kept, beautiful decor throughout. We used points to stay in a standard room. Our room was on the third floor, not a large room, but very clean, and well decorated--beautiful antique furniture, an old fashion clawed bathtub, with a shower. There are no TVs in the rooms, but each of them have a CD player with 3 selections, classical music, nature sounds...very relaxing. The sitting room does have a TV, DH tried it to watch the Celtics game, but the reception was poor.

There is a nature trail within 200 feet of the inn called Paradise Park with trails, over small bridges leading out to a lake. It's a very relaxing and romantic place to stay for some R & R. Vermont is a beautiful state and Windsor is right on the Connecticut River. I would recommend it to someone who needs to get away for a few days and relax. We would definitely like to stay there again.

We stayed at Juniper Hill in also. The food is REMARKABLE!!! The dinner was a tenderloin that was incredible. We had a baked brie appetizer that my mouth still waters over.

The breakfasts were great and included.
