I have an Alaska cruise scheduled for May 2023, so I reached out to Juneau Car Rentals to make a reservation for our Juneau stopover. We have used them before and was very satisfied with their service, as you could pick up and leave your rental at the port parking lot. I received a reply from them stating that the owner is retiring, and the business will be closing in October of 2022. I did not see that this had been shared on the board, so I wanted to let everyone know in case they planned on using their service in the future.
If you are looking for a service that will allow you to pick up and drop off at the port, I recommend looking into a peer-to-peer car sharing service.
