June or July? Opinions wanted

My annual pass expires in August. I would like to get in one more trip of about 10 - 12 days in length. I am a teacher and will have to go in June, July, or early August. I would rather go earlier in the summer.

Any opinions on July 4th? Any special events on July 4th?

Which month would be better for a solo trip?

Please advise

July 4 - has a special fireworks show at all the parks (except AK) - it is pretty crowded June and July - until after the 4th.

then it is not quite as bad - but of course it is a lot hotter.

Some of the factors one may wish to evaluate:

First week of June is an unofficial time where GLBT (Gay , Lesbian, Bi, Transgendered) celebrate at WDW.

First week of June is usually last week of EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival.

Fourth of July is now considered a prime holiday season and Disney Prices accordingly.

Fourth(and Third) of July have a special Fireworks Display at the Magic Kingdom.

Disney usually keeps WDW open longer hours starting Fourth of July through the rest of the summer.

Some of the highest central Florida Temperatures occur starting in July and August.

Big crowds on fourth of july.

Personally I have gone during fourth of July alot and if you plan time for swimming in hotel pools or use other techiques to break up the afternoon heat, its a great time of the year. Fourth of July itself is VERY crowded.

I just looked it up on the Gay Day site, since I need it but I see you can use it too. Here are the dates:

June 5-Gay Day @ Animal Kingdom
June 6-Gay Day @ Disney Studios
June 7-Gay Day @ Magic Kingdom
June 8-Gay Day @ Epcot
