June or Christmas week?

Which would you pick? BTW, we don't like really hot weather (like in June) and we don't like Crowds ( like at Christmas)! Dh is a college professor and has very different days off than kids school schedule. I hate to take the kids out of school(again). Is Dec 27th to 31th that bad to go?

From everything I've heard, Christmas week is a mess. That being said, June is hot (not as hot as July and August, though).

You've just got to make a decision. We go in June quite a bit and find the crowds very manageable. We're not early risers, but we still get everything done that we want to get done. Depending on when you go in June, it could be great. Early June is not crowded and I would even go so far as to say that the crowds are fine all the way up through the last week of June that leads up to July 4th.

Sure, it's hot, but get up fairly early, head back to your room for a dip in the afternoon, and then go back to the parks at night.

While the decorations are wonderful, I would never go the week after Christmas.

My vote is Christmas.
It's really the BEST time of year at the parks...
It's going to be crowded in either case... June or Christmas...
Christmas is better weather and better atmosphere...

Have fun planning!

We this past June, the 3rd-11th. It was our first summer trip. All in all, it wasn't as bad as we expected.

The crowds were heavy, but managable. By getting to the parks before opening, having a carefully thought out plan, and making good use of Fast Pass, we didn't really have any crowd issues to speak of. (I'd seriously reccomend Tour Guide Mike if you go in June or at Christmas!)

The heat was pretty horrible, but we tried to be out early and then head back to the resort to nap/swim after lunch. I'm used to hot weather in the summer, but I still found that combination of intense sun and horrible humidity to be absolutely BRUTAL. We probably won't ever go in the summer again for this reason.

We do love the parks at Christmas because of all the festive atmosphere, special things going on, cooler weather, etc. However, we usually go in early December when things are very, very slow. I've heard that the week between Christmas and New Year's is absolute gridlock!

So, I guess my answer is . . . . I'm not sure which would be better. Sorry for not being more help!

Well, both things you don't like happens in June and week of Christmas. Both will be crowded. June slilghtly less crowded with December being alot cooler. You'll have to select what you would prefer: less crowds or cooler weather?

I'd personally pick June as I like the heat.

June, June, June!!! My parents are teachers so we always had to do the summer. Our favorite time is the last week of June right before the 4th. Yeah, it's hot, but not unbearable (and don't forget about the power of AC!) and the crowds are quite managable.

Last year we went during Christmas week and it was AWFUL! I actually found it hard to have a good time at some points because of the crowd level. Christmas is a wonderful time to be at WDW, I just don't recommend the week of Christmas.

Good luck in whatever you choose!!!
