Was thinking of booking a last minute trip for the first week in June. I was under the impression June is a quiet time to visit, but looking on the Disney website a lot of hotels are sold out, only Newport bay and above available.

Any idea what the crowds will be like? Is it a quiet time to visit? HELP!

I was looking at that the other day aswell..i was assuming it would be quite but seeing all hotels are sold out so maybe not.

Im sure someone who has been in june can pop along and let you know :)

I was surprised too, had an email from them last night offering a real good deal on a 2 night/ 3 day stay at Santa Fe in June - Not one of the dates available when I checked and I have yet to track down the hotel offering a 25% discount in June as advertised on their website :confused3

Might it be that they are redecorating some of the outside and room areas of the onsite hotels, and therefore can't book to capacity? Orion mentioned this in her trip report from last week, about the buildings being given some TLC.

I've already booked for beginning of June (offsite though, Explorers). I phoned Disney last week to see if I could get a better room only price at an onsite hotel (we have Dream APs) - Santa Fe fully booked, Cheyenne could only get one night (and it was extortionate compared to what I paid 6 months ago :scared1: ) but the Sequoia Lodge was available, at an okay price.

I'm hoping the revamp of the hotels is the reason for the bookings being full, rather than mega crowds - I always go low season, midweek, because I don't do queues :scared: .

I have just found a hotel with this offer on (for date beteen 15th and 22nd june), NPB june 23rd for offer of 3 nights it was around £300.

I think they were also offering the free night and day off for june as well between 12th - 17th June 2008, so i guess this is why its booked up.

I was thinking of going in June next year instead of end of sept/beginning of Oct, but i'm not so sure now, looks like it might be rather busy.
