June crowds?

We just returned from our 1st WDW trip...it was awesome. So, we are planning to return June 2004. How are the crowds the first 2 weeks of June? Any experiences. We would love to go back in September, but we don't want to pull our daughter out of school again. TIA

We went Memorial Day weekend, which was crowded, but do-able. But the minute we hit Tuesday the place was a ghost town. We had the place to ourselves.

I would absolutely go back again after the long weekend !!!!

Florida weather is still great then, not too hot !

Kids in Florida were still in school, as is many parts of the country.

What you must check is the dates for the "Gay Day at Disney World". It is around the 5th of June and probably begins several days before through the weekend. Besides that it may not be for you and your family, I think is draws something like 100,000 people to the Disney World area.

We will be arriving on Sat. June 5th. That is at the end of Gay Days, which is June 1st-June 7th, 2004. I have friends that went this time of year and they said the crowds were great. There are still a lot of schools that are not out for summer. We are just planning to avoid the crowds from Gay Days, by checking their schedule and avoiding the park that they have planned for the day. I have heard that the first few weeks of June are the best, after that, the crowds get much bigger.
