Great to see you back! I love the soups at Boma too. I don't care for the watermelon rind salad either, when I tried it, it tatsed too strongly of cloves. I also liked the corn and spinach pudding, but I couldn't stand the texture of it. And I too also "force" myself to ride It's A Small World once a trip.

Hey Marsha. Glad you're back!! Boma is one of my fav's!! Glad you enjoyed it. I wish I was going back to WDW in Oct!! Hopefully next year. We are going the first week in May for our 25th anniv. but I informed my DH that I WANT to go for Food & Wine Fest. We shall see. Cannot wait for your next update

50's Prime Time Cafe, lunch, 6.13.09

This was my birthday! And I planned to spend it at MGM, with the birthday fastpass! And Star Wars Weekend! And of course, lunch w/my favorite server, Richard!

I got loads of fun Star Wars stuff done, and loads of rides too. That birthday fastpass was a lifesaver! I didn't have to do the Toy Story rush, I bee-lined it to meet up with Chewy. Very exciting!

Also got to meet Darth Vader. Aaron was very jealous, especially that his little fill in was there in his place.

Oh yeah, remember that Birthday Fastpass, yeah, here it is!

Used it for RnR, and Toy Story twice. Used regular FP for ToT.

Okay, so let's get down to what you're really interested in...the food! So I had an 11am ADR for the PTC, but when I got there, Richard informed me that he had a huge party, and there was no way I could be in his section. Oh no, that would not do! He told me to come back around 1, and he should be able to take me.

So I got to see the Star Wars parade, which was pretty cool. Did a couple more rides, then headed back for some food.

First off, I had to order a Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake. These things are awesome! Oh, and Richard suggested adding some chocolate sauce to it, and that made it even better! Good stuff.

For my meal, I got the chicken sandwich - marinated chicken breast topped with cheddar, grilled onions, barbeque sauce, lettuce and tomato on a Kaiser roll, with a house salad or french fries. I got it with the side salad. Never had this before, but it was really good!

Of course, I also had to order a picnic punch. Surprised? No, I know you're not.

I had planned on being back at the hotel earlier, to take a nap, so I could get some MK time in before dinner, but since I got back later than expected, I napped a bit later. Oh, and when I got back to the room, I found this...

Aw, Aaron had sent me balloons for my bday!!! That was so awesome!!!

Anyway, I napped, headed to MK, and ended up doing a lot more than I thought would be possible! Dinner wasn't until 9:30pm, so I even got to watch Spectro. Watched right near the entrance, so I could scoot on over to the Contemporary for dinner and Wishes at the Cali Grille.
