We'll be staying at WL June 8th -June 16th.:yay:
It will be our first stay there. We usually stay at BC. Hope we will not be disappointed!(Disney's never let us down yet!) We're used to convenience of BC, but we  the motif of WL and the DS and DD are hot for the bunk beds.

We'll be there 13th through 15th. We're staying at OKW for most of our trip, but when I went to tack on extra days...decided to try something different. We're planning on just hanging around the pool for one day!!! My dd asked me, today, what Old Faithful will look like at night. I told her I don't know, but we're going to find out! Have fun!

We'll be at the WL June 5-12. Just added a day to the front end to make life easier. My DD has a paper chain and ripping a link off each night!

See you there!

We're on the chain gang too! We made a chain of Mickey heads (and some Minnie too per DD request) at 63 days. It is a nice decoration in our kitchen. Time to tear one off right now!!! (rrrrip) Ooooo 52 days!:woohoo:

We stayed at OKW way back in 97! We went back to Olivia's for lunch last June!!!

Have fun!!!

We are going in mid-June for 7 nights. I think this is our 8th stay at WL.
You will love this resort. Besides the fabulous theme, transportation is great.
You can take the boat to the Magic Kingdom (or the bus). You can take a boat to the Contemporary and jump on the monorail to Epcot. It's an awesome place to stay. Have fun!

We'll also be at VWL June 10 - 14; first time for us & can't wait! :yay:

It's our first trip to the WL and DD's first trip ever. Last night, the subject of milkshakes came up, which brought up bottomless milkshakes, which led to WCC, which led to looking at pictures on allears.net , which led to not being able to settle DS down for bed. He was doing the banana dance down the hall!

I was just wondering if it was faster to take the boat to CR then the monorail to Epcot. Thanks!

Hope to see you all there. Just look for the Dad of the cutest 3-year old girl at the resort from June 9-15, and you'll know it's me.

Since I haven't been there before, I can't say for sure, but I would expect the combination of waiting for a boat, riding it, walking to the monorail, waiting for it, riding it, waiting for the EPCOT monorail, and riding it would take longer than waiting for and riding a bus.

On the other hand, it IS a vacation and I think it's worth it at least once. I know my 9 year old and 5 year old will enjoy doing it; I expect your little one will as well.

We'll already be at the WL when you arrive, I'll have the 6 year old redheaded princess.

We will be at VWL from the 3 - 7, then we switch to BCV until the 12th. I can't wait.

we found it quicker last week to take the boat to the Contemp. and then the monrail to Epcot etc etc.... The only deal with WL and the busses is last week.. everytime we took the bus.. we had to go either to the Poly or the GF.. and I mean each time... and if we went to the AK we had to stop at Blizzard Beach first.. and this went on and on each time... :rolleyes1

June 6-16 is drawing nearer! We got our Disney luggage tags in the mail today:yay:

Couple questions: Where do you get bottomless milk shakes? Though I don't need any, they have sparked my curiosity.

When the bus stopped at Contemp. and to Poly, where did WL fit in? Is it the 3rd stop? I'm concerned with having full buses arriving at WL after they have already made the two other stops. That's no fun! Does anyone know if these multi-stops change when the demand is high and buses run more direct? It seems like AK and BB have always on the same route in the past. Either way I guess we'll manage. We are very patient with WDW transportation. However, we were very satisfied with transportation from Beach Club. I don't want to be disappointed in this area. I know we'll love WL, but this transportation issue has been my one concern.
Mine is a 5 year old dark blonde, brown eyed princess!

Based on our experience at Poly, the bus routes and number vary based on how busy WDW is. More buses and/or fewer stops per route in busier times - whether it works smoothly while we're there is anyone's guess.

The more important question you had were the bottomless milkshakes - they are at Whispering Canyon Cafe. If you're on the DDP, they count as a beverage, not a dessert. From what I've read, there are as many as 7 or 8 different flavors available. I don't need it, but DS is drooling.

We got our tags and stuff yesterday! :cool1: :cool1: It gets tougher every day to focus on work.

Thanks Flashscout! I guess what will be will be with the busing. We're on vacation so who really cares!!! If we went to WDW without patience, we'd be in big trouble! We prefer WDW transportation where as many abhor it. We'll deal with whatever we're faced with cause we're in WDW by golly!

Back to the milkshakes! :cloud9: They sound heavenly. DS and DD would really go for them, however, DH still isn't sold on the DDP. We already have ADR for 7 TS out of 8 days (we leave the 8th, not the 6th I mis-typed b4). but he is still skeptical that we would come out ahead. :confused3 Oh well there is still time... but not a lot!! 30 days tomorrow!  Who's doing the banana dance now??!!

We are going down with friends who have 2 DDs and 1 DS who have never been!! We're sooo excited to share the magic with them!!!:yay:It is very difficult to focus on anything but our trip. Plus DD is turning 5 on the 24th and is graduating pre-school and school is almost out:woohoo:and soccer and baseball are in full swing and it finally feels like spring and... Life is good!:goodvibes We are so blessed!

4 4 the World, I agonized over the DDP for several days, comparing CS to see if DS would find stuff to eat, then adding up value of our TS ADR's. Finally realized that, including tax and tip, we break even with just the TS and 2 CS. The rest is just gravy, so if DS wants more than the kids menu offers, we can pay OOP. For once I'm not going to fuss over the cost of meals.

You talk about spring arriving, we're done with that down here - highs around 90 and lows in the 70's. At least we'll be well acclimated to WDW.

Countdown status: 1 day to DD b-day princess:
3 days to DD party:cake:
10 days to DS last Pack meeting pirate:
11 days to DD ballet recital :dance3:
20 days to end of school :cheer2:
27 days to WDW
