June 8, 2010 WONDERful 5 Day Key West Cruise

Hey guys, guess what's just turned up ? yes, my Fish Extender

DSCN0560.jpg

I'm really pleased with it, though deep down I wish I was 'crafty' enough to have made one of my own

I hope everyone's having a good day :)

Love it!!!!! BTW How can I post pic here???

I need some advise. I booked and payed my vac on the Wonder. Then I decided to stay a couple of days on the POP (after the cruise). I fear they send my bags to the airport instead of the hotel. With who I should talk to?:confused3:confused3:confused3

Please excuse my mistakes... My English is not so good

Once you have downloaded your pic to your computer, you then need to download it to a host site. I use photobucket. Once you have the photo on the host site, you need to copy the url beginning with
and paste it on here (I hope that makes sense) :)

Don't worry about it! Unless you check your luggage on the ship for your flight (can you do that? Like airline check-in at the resorts), there's no risk of losing your luggage or having it go to the wrong place at the end of the cruise. Here's how it works:

The last day of the cruise you will receive tags in your stateroom for your luggage. These will be disney-themed color-coded tags. Fill them out and place them on the bags you want to leave outside. Then, leave the bags outside in the hall before 10pm. The stateroom hosts will collect them for you so you don't have to tote everything off the ship. Don't forget to keep the clothes and things you need for the last morning!

The last morning, you get breakfast, then exit the ship with your carry-on luggage. You will get scanned off the ship, then go down an escalator or elevator to the luggage room and customs. Before going to customs, you go to the color area from your tags, and find your bags. Take them through customs.

Finally, you will find yourself outside the terminal. If you are taking a DCL bus to your resort, you board the bus. They will put your luggage on the bus and take you to your destination. Once at the hotel, they will unload your luggage. If you're not taking a bus, you can meet your ride at the pick-up area or walk to your car from there. At no time once you exit customs is your luggage on a different vehicle than you are.

I hope this helps!

Welcome aboard TD3 & family, and congratulations on your 10 year wedding anniversary

Thanks - wish I had found the boards a while ago, although getting excited for that long might have killed me. We are Dave (me) DW Tina, DD Dakota (7), and DS Dane (3). All DD and DS know is we are going on vacation - they don't know where or what yet - they might just explode when they figure it out. Living in So Cal we are AP's for Disneyland and go all the time - but this is going to be big. Look forward to meeting people, relaxing, and I think I'll be checking into a few of those tastings....

Cruise documents are finally in hand. Just a tip to everyone read your documents carefully. Mine were all in order except for our transport from resort to port. We had paid for the extra transport but when Disney sent the documents it had us going airport to port which meant we would have had to travel back to the airport and then get on another bus to go to port. But I contacted TA and the very next day had everything in hand I need for proper transfers.

Hi! I must have missed your 1st post? Are you all joining our cruise meet? I'll add you to roll call at post#12 if you are. Let me know, would hate to leave someone out :goodvibes

We will certainly try to stop by. With a red eye flight from LA the night before - we'll have to see how the kids hold up. But something tells me they will still be flying high on the whole thing.

You said you just received your docs. Were these replacement documents listing the correct info? When we received our docs, there was no transport listed (and we are using DCL from the airport to Port to Resort). We had booked it after the docs were mailed. I contacted my TA and she said don't worry about it, I don't need them listed on my documents. I just want to make sure that I don't need to get a new set of docs. So I'm asking all of you expert crusiers about this?

I am going to answer this question the bast that I can since I am not sure when my mom will get a chance. When she recieved our docs she noticed the issue with the transport and called our TA to check on that, our TA then made a call to see what had happened with the transfers. Then once she had confirmation that we were booked for them she mailed a confirmation sheet to us and said to keep it with the cruise docs. So not a whole new set of docs just a piece of paper. Hope that helped.

Is anyone going to make a start on their packing this weekend ? or is it still a little too early ? :)

Thanks a bunch. Answers it perfectly.

How hard is it to change your dining rotation? We just don't want to miss the show in Animator's Palette. And, of course, Murphy's Law will probably have us in AP the same night as our Palo reservation. That would be our luck.
You find out which rotation your on when you get your KTTW card correct?

:cool1:I'm sure my hubby would say that it's way to early---but the anticipation of sun and warm weather makes me want to start packing now! :dance3:

I am mentally going over everything we're taking and what bags it will all fit in, does that count as packing?:scratchin

Do they only show the stage productions one time? If we don't see Golden Mickey's the only time it shows on the first night, will we miss it completely then?

Thanks for the info, thankfully we don't mind where we are on each evening :)

Yes, you find out your dining rotation when you get your KTTW card, though if you're worried about missing the AP show the night you have Palo, then it wouldn't hurt to send DCL an email and ask

Have a great weekend everyone :thumbsup2
