June 8, 2010 WONDERful 5 Day Key West Cruise

Gold Castaway Club members also get to book at 105 days - Platinum gets to book at 120 (I think)! We just completed our 5th cruise in December, so this is our first time as Gold members!

With the B2B, we'll be at 7 cruises. I keep trying to talk Jim into a B2B2B on the Dream in 2011 just to get the last 3 cruises out of the way and be Platinum, but can you imagine - he just won't go for it!!

Still thinking about doing the FE. Also, can't remember if there is a character breakfast on the ship or Tea with Wendy? And we are spending some time at WDW beforehand and my daughters Pal Mickey clip is broken. Can't find where I can order a new one .

Ok, so I looked up as much as I could about the FE's, but have read too many different ways. So I still have some questions - do we give something to each room as a whole or to each person in each room that's participating or just kids. And is it any day we choose and just once, or something everyday? Also, is it just for the people in our group on the original list, so we need to give room numbers? Thanks, I think my kids would have a blast delivering goodies.

the FE is always a lot of fun and not bad if there are not an overwhelming number of cabins

I am getting excited. I wish we knew more about the 5 night and what to expect for the dinners and shows.

I know, I keep wondering if there will be a character breakfast, tea with wendy and due to advice from an earlier poster, I will pack 1 dressy outfit for each family member in case of a semi/formal night. We have only done 7 night cruises in the past and had all the above. But funny how I never noticed the FE's around. Guess I was too busy havin' some Disney fun!

Between Friday morning and Saturday morning we got another 8 inches of snow, it is snowing again this morning imagine that, weather forecast is calling for another inch looking at our walk we have over that much right now.

We are wondering if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations for excursions in Nassau.

Think we have our idea for FE gifts narrowed down.

I hot glued mine together....I DO NOT SEW!! I scrapbok ALOT so I hot glued some of my stickers to my FE. It held up just fine last cruise, I may have to touch it up some, but it will do I'll add u to the list

As far as Nassau, we walked around last time and took the boys to the pirate museum, but this time we are minus the boys so we are going to Atlantis

I use that iron on glue for fabric...can't think of what it's called, but it comes in tape and in 8 1/2 x 11 sheets that you can cut and you just put it between two pieces of material and iron (or between one piece folded)...I haven't made our FE yet, but that's what I intend to do as it's what I've done anytime I have to come up with a fabric project.

This is our 4th Disney Cruise, but it has been some time since we have cruised with the Mouse, so we are a little rusty! hmmmmm, do u know how they did that? or the name of the site they used? Last cruise we just met for about 30 mins in the Promenade Lounge after the last dinner, we wore lei's to identify us, Jst let me know

there's lots of photo sites that you can share with your family by email...maybe we'd just all share our email addresses?

I like the idea of meeting up somewhere early in the cruise too...(and having something to help identify like the leis)

i can't believe we are about to hit the 3 month mark!!! woohoo!!!

I have been working on my FE gifts today, and picked up some RUM mini-bottles to go with the whole cruise name....but I am concerned about kids opening them. Hmmmm, I know I opened the FE gifts on our last cruise and anything for the kids i gave them and anything grown-up we packed (or drank ) Just wanted to give a heads up to parents on the FE w/kids under 21
