Cayla - sorry to hear that you are single (unless you wanted to be single again) but I am glad to hear that you are still able to make it on the cruise. Are you still in school and still working 2 or 3 jobs?

Bob and Dale - great to hear from you also!

Maybe if we keep this thread on the first page we will get more folks posting - I know there are more of us on the B2B!

Single...well, it needed to happen. Do I like being single - not really. But, it is what it is.

Working? Right now...I am on light duty, not allowed to work my second job (this is killing me $$$ wise). I managed to fall (the cop who "scored" me said I got a 2 for form, and an 8 for fortitude!) while at work. I have two partiall torn tendons/ligaments in my right ankle. Long story short - it means I have a severe sprain and am not allowed to walk long distances...thus being a nurse...not happening! I am dong a lot of typing for the full time job (eeewww)

Glad to hear you are back at work...what happened? Are you alright? I didn't get to see you guys whilst in Fl during the marathon...geez was it cold or what? I was lucky I was warned...I took longjohns with me...glad I did!

Bob & Dale...I look forward to seeing you guys and Gordy too of course! Bear went to live with his mommie after our breakup...so he won't be traveling with me any longer. Pal was pretty devistated and isn't sure he wants to travel any longer since his bud isn't with him...it happens that way sometimes.

I managed to find a roomie (actually we kinda both managed to find one) He was already planning to go, but the cost was prohibitive...same story for me. My TA thought of him and got me his digits...we called each other and spoke at length (90 min!)....you know us Disney folks...we can talk forever! Well...seems we think we can survive it..so we are gonna room together. Thus - I am back to doing the B2B...there for a bit I thought I would have to give up the first cruise. But Michael (the roomie) made some great points...and I decided to do it after all.

So...lets get this thread rolling!!!

Good Afternoon Cruisers!

Hi Cayla, glad to hear you and Michael hooked up so that you could both cruise. We heard from Michael that you were rooming together. Sorry we missed you at the marathon - didn't know you were going to be there. If you ran the marathon, I was at waterstop 13, yelling at all to be careful of the icy street! Who would have thought in Florida!!!! I barely made it thru the 1/2 - should have been swept, but they made me finish. My knee is still recovering from surgery (meniscus) last August - and my speed is not up there. Work is for the Census bureau - it is only temporary, which is why I took it. As it is an office job - it is lasting longer than I thought it would, will probably go at least until this cruise, do not know if it will still be there when I get back! That is OK, working 8-5 M-F is driving me crazy! Can't seem to get anything done, had to wait for a month just to get a hair cut appt now that I am competing with everyone else who needs after 5 or Saturday! I just take off from work for my doctors appts.

Good Morning Cruisers!

I put off the dog walk until later today, just could not face the dark, cold and wind all at the same time - later I will just have to face the cold and wind but it will be sunny! It is warmer - it was 27 degrees this morning, but with 25mph winds, the wind chill was about 2 degrees.

The wind has picked up and now it looks more like Cheyenne, with bare spots of grass visible and larger drifts of snow.

Have a great day all - after today I am back to working the early shift so will not make it back here until the weekend.
