June 26, 2011 5 Nights on the Disney Dream!!!!

Hi -- that was us. My SIL lives in Seoul, so that was her contribution to the FE. We did the Tim Horton's coffee and Canadian Smarties. Glad you liked the bookmarks!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

I hope ya'll had a FABULOUS time on the Dream! I know we did! It is hard to believe it has been almost 2 months since our vacation began! I miss it so much and WANT TO GO BACK!!! How was everyone's trip? I want to hear all about it!

I really enjoyed meeting some of you on the ship! It was so nice to put faces with names.

While we were on the ship, my family and I found out that my grandmother (my Dad's mom) was not doing well back home. We flew home as scheduled on the 1st and drove straight to her house (about 3 hours from the airport). She was such a strong lady and held on for 4 more days after we returned home. Unfortunately, we lost her on July 5th. So since returning, life has been pretty hectic with all the things that come with a family death. My father is the executor of her estate and has been very busy with this. Things are starting to slow down now and I was finally able to check back in and say 'Hi'!

So, did anyone rebook on the Dream? We didn't rebook but we are thinking of going on the Fantasy in June 2013 for my niece's graduation- anyone wanna join us?

Thank you to everyone for the fantastic FE gifts! What a great group of cruisers we had! I have the magnets, on my fridge, the key chains on my keys, bookmarks in books and stuff in my scrapbook! And I am using my lanyard at work!

Funny story- My family put our wonder logo made by GoofyIsAsGoofyDoes on shirts that we work on embarkation day. While having lunch at Cabanas, someone asked my sister where she got her shirt. She told him that her family made them. He asked of he could join our family!!! He loved the shirts!! Thanks again Goofy!

Wow! We thought our son was the only one with 3 vacations this summer. First, the cruise at the end of June for 5 nights/6 days, a month with his dad (my ex) with a 2 wk trip to Boston, then to WDW mid August for another 5/6, and we stayed in AKL!! Oh my I loved that!!! I am really glad to be home though and ready for normal routine.

We booked online but a dummy date and plan to go in late June/early July 2013!! Ally's Bday is in July so we are thinking about then. especially since we wont have a school calendar for then when the cruise dates come out in October. But we are definitely looking for the Western Carr on the Fantasy. Maybe we will see you there

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.....

My trip was less than steller as the day we left for the trip I dislocated my elbow. We had planned to spend a week before at WDW and then, cruise and then, 4 more nights in Orlando. I sent my family without me so, I could see the surgeon on Tuesday. I flew out on Wednesday but I was in a sling and splint for the entire trip. I did not get to go on the Aquaduck or to Atlantis. I was dissappointed but that is what you get for not buying trip insurance. I did make the best of it but it wasn't easy as I was in a bit of pain. I never made it to any of the meets or greets. I was hoping to but I knew I was traveling with 19 people that it might not be possible so, I really didn't committ to anything.

We did end up rebooking for Thanksgiving 2012. I'm determined to try out the Aquaduck this time.

Hope everyone had a better time than I did. I did love the ship and decor. One thing I really missed was taking pictures. I had a harder time holding my DSLR that I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted. I can't wait to see the Fantasy in 2012....
