Great trip report, thanks for sharing!!! It is really making me look forward to my cruise. Less than 18 months to go.... how will I ever survive.....

Great report. Sounds like a ball! Now I'm worried about my DD21mos getting sunburned! We go Aug. 5 = HOT!!

And oh, we go to Cedar Point and Geauga Lake all the time. Our band plays the Halloweekends Fri and Sat. nights in the fall! Stop up then!! Cheaper, less people, and sounds like you guys would really be a fun audience!!

Cristi-I know the agony of waiting, but I'm not sure which is worse, waiting or having the trip over.

Tarabra-DH & I went to college at Kent State. What bands play? High School?
We teach music (band). I grew up in Lake County.

Also, don't worry about getting sunburned. Obviously my ds was determined to be macho and prove he doesn't burn, he tans. NOT!!!! Right now he's a snake-shedding his coat!!!

I also made a big mistake later in the cruise. I had a good tan going and since it was cloudy in CM and Coz, I wanted to just get a little sun before I put the sunscreen on. Well believe it or not, I started talking and lost track of time sitting in the pool.

Loved your trip report and especially loved finding one already complete!

Just under 19 weeks till my double-dip and I can hardly wait. We also have a great group of DISers and have several group events planned (we've totally sold out the David & Ivan tour with people from the Magic and mostly people from the meets thread).

The only cure for the post cruise blues is to book another one, you know!

If anyone has more ????, just ask cause I'm trying to get through the post-cruise blues and I now have to live vicariously through others!!!

I would like to know also about your transportation with Art's shuttle, were they reliable and picked you up when YOU requested?

Art's Shuttle is the same company that does the shuttles from the port hotels to port. However, they use nicer vehicles for the longer rides.

I had used them in the past. Everything was fine. This time I did experience some communication problems when I tried to get a ressie, and then to confirm. They have an answering machine and were not very timely in returning my calls.

With that said, they have always been very prompt and very nice. We had a nice 15 passenger van from WDW resort to port since it was 2 families. For the port to airport, it was just the 3 of us so it was a mini van.

IMPORTANT: If there is another party being picked up close to the time you are requesting and are going to the same place or near it, they will combine the ride. This did not happen last cruise or on the way home this time.

They did put us with these horrible people from resort to port. Just Kidding, it was Doingitagain and we had a great time. However, they didn't really ask if this was ok. You might want to verify this ahead of time if you don't want this. A private pick up may become a mini bus experience!!!

Also, they will try to tell you that you can not arrive at the port until 12. Make sure you tell them that the terminal opens around 10!!! Also, I wanted a 9 am pickup after the cruise, they said I would be off way before that. Again, tell them 9 if that's what you want. It can not be any later though cause you do have to be off by 9.

OOPS! , when we set up to meet on the port side, we were referring to the side of the ship next to the port. Sorry to all who actually are familiar
with nautical terms!! I have never talked so much in 60 min. in my entire life! No really!!! I think there were 25-30 disers who I eventually met, a few on the last day! It rained a little, then a lot and then it was time for dinner!!

Now I know why I didn't see you all! You were right above us!!!
I'm just glad we finally met some of you at Serenity Bay
