June 23rd 2012 - Commandeering the Disney Fantasy - Pirates back in the Caribbean

Jetblue has extended their schedule if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the heads up...just checked and can get flights from $107 each way...now to just remember when I'm supposed to be coming back!

I wasn't too impressed with Jetblue's prices so I think we're going to hold out & see what Southwest offers on the 13th when their new schedule comes out.

Just checked & Jetblue added some non-stop flights between Boston & Orlando so we ended up booking after all. I've been looking at Southwest for May & even though the prices seem to be a bit better, the flights aren't at all convenient.

Rob has been telling me all along that he doesn't think he can get any more time off of work. So, I thought WDW pre-cruise was out of the question. BUT, the other day he "hinted" towards wanting to do at least a day at WDW. So, I'm really not sure now. I guess it will also depend on the cost of flights, etc. I hate to be so close to WDW and not spend any time there :(

I was the same way Deanna last summer. I consoled myself with 1 night post cruise at our love, WL. I also surprised everyone with a fireworks cruise and since we were staying at WL, they picked us right up at the marina. It was perfect!

I looked at pictures of Port Orleans French Quarter online tonight. Miranda deemed it "scary" and said "No way I am staying there". The Mardi Gras theme is a bit for me too but I think the resort is beautiful and it is the first place I ever stayed at WDW and it's sentimental. I think I might have to keep a look out for WL.
Bill is saying now, at least, that he does not want to go to the WDW part of the trip and he may meet up w/us in time to hit the cruise. I am almost 100% we are going to get a car service to get to the post. Little by little things are coming together.

Good morning fellow cruisers. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

weeks to go to the Fantasy. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

FYI, SouthWest has released dates out to August. :thumbsup2 I got $119 from BWI and $140 on the way back. I would hurry. The flight back at 1:20pm has already jumped to $170. :scared1:

We're getting closer :cool1::cool1::cool1: I see you are from MD. We are from Delaware, just up the road, and flying out of BWI this trip. We just booked SWA today.

Hello over there.:wave2: I guess I should start looking for airfare too. We are still unsure if our DS is coming with us. He is suppose to go to Switerland for two weeks hiking with his old scout troop (they are all college aged now), and they leave the day after our cruise. If the group can't get it together, then he will be with us. Even though his trip sounds wonderful, we would like to have him with us for one of the few family vacations left, or at least until after college.

Wow, Switzerland sounds great. :cool1: If a DCL Fantasy cruise is a consolation prize then sign me up. I would not wait too much longer on booking flights. The flight back form MCO to BWI that I booked for $140pp went up to $171 within a day and is now $190. :scared1::scared1: I guess they know that is the flight to get. The nonstop flight before is at 9:30am which we can not do and the non stop flight after is 4:30pm and I have no deisre to sit around MCO for hours. Good luck with your arrangements.

Just booked airfare on Southwest from PIT; $278 per person. Can't wait for June to get here.
