June 23rd 2012 - Commandeering the Disney Fantasy - Pirates back in the Caribbean

Just checking in. Haven't been on the boards much lately. The last few months have been a blur. My Mom fractured her back the end of March and passed away on May 13th. So I have spent my last 2 months at hospitals, nursing homes and finally at the local Hospice.

I will need this cruise more than even now.

I am so sorry.

I'm so sad they didn't have all this when my kids were younger. :sad1:
But how wonderful!! I may have to "borrow" someone's child...go along and watch, that is....

:rotfl2:You don't want to pay:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

True! And I won't have to for a while, my grandbabies are BOYS!!
No $$$$ shelled out for princess:BBB.
pirate:pirate:pirate:

Apparently pirate night day it turns into pirate central for both the kids and adults-----so don't count out those extra room charges just yet:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Steph, I'm so sorry he is going through this again......what a great sister you are! I will keep all of you in my prayers!

Thank you.
He was in the hospital from last Thursday until this Tuesday. Doing better now.

Have you all seen this?

My daughter will be thrilled with the BBB on the ship. I bet those pirate night reservations will be the hardest to get. Yikes! My son will be three, probably still too young for it.

What FUN! Our youngest might think she is too *big* for such things....BUT, her two sisters (20 & 27) would LOVE it!!! LOL!

I don't know how these meet boards work. My family is booked on this cruise in room 12000. It is my husband (Gary), me (Jen), Max (16), Myles (14), Ellie (5)--ages at time of sailing. We are very excited!

Welcome aboard!!! It's really easy, just start chatting with us. Sometimes we seem to be more talkative than other times. :goodvibes

I'm not on here very often, but everyone is here just to talk about the cruise, talk about our lives, and get to know eachother before the cruise, and share cruise plans and ideas.
If you have any questions at all....about anything like packing, excursions, dinner, etc.....just ask. Tons of us here will be glad to help.:thumbsup2

Ours starts back up Aug.1st. I have to be back to work July 15th.

WELCOME!!!!!! We'll have Samantha (21), Elvis (14) and Claire (10 - she turns 11 couple of days after the cruise).

school is out!!

WOO HOO!!!!

After next week all of our outside classes will be over for the school year. My kids will still have to do math throught hte summer --- Both of them would really rather NEVER see a number on a page again. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Elvis told me that Actors don't need higher level Math or Science...... Then I reminded him that he didn't want to be an idiot. :rotfl::rotfl: So, he is thinking that just *maybe* he might want to be able to get into college. ;)

Good morning fellow cruisers. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

tharg-6-50-trans.gif

weeks to go to the Fantasy. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

When we did the Disney Trans-Atlantic there were tons of people with no children. I have a 14 year old son and you would not know I have children unless you seen me at dinner. The rest of the time he is on the move and I get to enjoy Disney as an older kid.

Elvis told me that Actors don't need higher level Math or Science...... ;)

Remind Elvis how many Actors, Musicians, Sports Stars have no money because someone took advantage of them because they were not educated enough to understand what was going on.

Math... How many billions do I have and how do I not lose it.
Science... What is the stuff they are putting on my face... What do you mean you are going to blow me up in this scene and it is safe..

I would think an Actor needs more Math and Science because they will have more money and risk that the rest of us....Go School

One Example:
Nicolas Cage makes for a surprising bum — he’s still famous and making movies.

Apparently, Cage owes $6.2 million in back taxes, which is the second scariest thing he’s ever faced. Because of ‘improperly deducted personal expenses,’ Cage is being forced to sell both his $3.5 million mansion in New Orleans and his $35 million house in Hollywood. He has only paid the IRS $666,000 so far — he still has a long way to go.

WELCOME ABOARD :welcome: :welcome:

My DH (Darren) and I will have an 18 yr old (Andrew) and a 15 yr old (Kelly) by cruise time.

My son is a big gamer (WoW, etc) and my daughter will probably try karaoke this time now that she has Rock Camp under her belt.

DH and I are looking forward to Remy:woohoo:
