June 23rd 2012 - Commandeering the Disney Fantasy - Pirates back in the Caribbean

may just have to pre-medicate this time. Besides that, it's the end of the cruise, you can heal at home.

That is good advice. We have spent a little time with some doctors and nurses recently and were told over and over again that it is best to get in front of the pain and you don't ever want to be chasing it. Always practice pre-medication!!!!

We pretty much went from the game to the medicine store....;)

Just popping bye...it's snowing..i'm at work...I had a child in my office (I think he was coming down with something)...he has been picked up and now I needed a distraction! lol

Anyone else getting dumped on? We are finally getting snow in the DC area. Sadly, my poor husband takes the metro and the bus home from work, and he is stuck at the Vienna metro waiting for a bus to come. He missed the first bus (around 4:15) by two people because it filled up and there hasn't been another bus since. He can't get out of the snow because he doesn't want to lose his place in the LONG line so he is just getting snowed on. :)

Poor guy. I told him to just dream of our cruise. :)

Meanwhile, my kids are beside themselves with excitement.

This must be the hospital

Hmmm - I'm glad I'm not flying from the DC area to Fla for a cruise tonight....

Steph - we definitely need to introduce our boys. Nick wasn't on the DIS boards before the PC cruise. He tends to be more shy until he gets to know someone. But, I think he'll be feeling more comfortable on this cruise. My younger one has no problems meeting new friends. Although he more inclined to hang out with the girls.

Oh, good! Elvis (Brian -- he's always gone by Elvis on Disney. But, he may want to use his *real* name. lol) would love to meet one of the other boys! Jon would really like it if he would meet other boys and hang out with them instead of him. :rotfl:
I do the activites all day on the cruise so, he can't hang out with me.... Jon just lounges and drinks. So, that is why our son knows the names of his fathers favorite bartenders. :rotfl2:

My trip report from the Disney Dream from Jan 21st-23rd is up and started. You can get the link in my Signature! Enjoy! It's an amazing ship and I didn't have nearly enough time to do anything I wanted. I will never go on a big group (10 people) cruise EVER AGAIN:mad:!! Beacuse everyone wanted to do something different, including me, but some people in our group couldn't accept the fact that we didn't want to hang out with them THE WHOLE TIME, and made the last day only full day on the ship miserable!! :headache:

But I'm really excited for me and DF's honeymoon so we can have 2 full weeks to do whatever we want and not have someone complaining about it:cloud9:

When we cruised with all of out children (some are adults) the only *rule* we had was that everyone had to eat dinner together. And see a couple of the shows with us - we paid for their cruise that was the least they could do. ;)
I don't even hang out with my husband during the daytime on the cruise ship. I'm mostly by myself. And that's fine with me! lol.

Us too! Dinner is required since we don't see each other much during the day. We also request our own table so we can talk about the day.

:beach:

Drinks first, then Rugby...

Or a Hooker.

I came home from work and Bob called me a hooker. I think he should be back on solid foods by the time we sail ;)

I actually did play Rugby in college but due to the "needed" pain medication it is pretty much a blurrrr.

So is Captain Crash going to lead us in some Rugby Songs???

Deanna to answer your question I am more of a Flanker than a Hooker. :)

So if I'm to do this - WHO is going to sing in my harmony section?

Or better yet - I'll just lip sync it while someone else hoots away!!!

The rugby game looks like a lot of fun. I missed it last time, but I think we're skipping the vow renewal on this cruise. Let me know if you have an open spot on one of the teams.

Did they run out of cool names for the positions? We have hookers and flankers, then there's plain ole Number 8.
