Okay, have not been on here in a long time. Got busy selling a house and building a new one. Now that we are getting so close, I am getting back down to business. This is my second Disney cruise. I want to make it very fun and memorable for my family. Trying to learn all about the Dis cruise community. What are FE's? Also, would love to get to know families with kids in the 12 and 14 year old range, as that is what my kids are. Thanks for any answers and help.

I think we are going to go for a Mayan Ruins excursion in Costa Maya

My DH was looking at a jeep excursion in Cozumel, but not sure if he gave up on that

Laurie - I went on the Costa Maya Mayan Ruins excursion in 2005 - it was awesome !!
I have no idea what everyone wants to do this time - dh Paul wasn't there 2005 nor has dd Lori's new dh Bob - and Lori didn't go in 2005 she had kid duty!!
I guess it's time to figure out those details !

SOOOOOOO EXCIIIIITTTTEEEEDDDDDD!!!!!!! We had feared we were going to have to cancel this cruise due to financial and work issues. But today, work cleared me for the time off AND our refinance on our house came in MUCH cheaper than we had anticipated!!!! So we are DEFINITELY joining you all!!!!!!!

Plus: My parents are now coming!!!!!!! Really excited!

Now, to get started on my FE gifts and really explore excursions. (I hadn't even looked at them for fear that we were going to have to cancel...) So much to do and only 3.5 months to do it!!!!!

Um, me. Sorry, been on the FB group, but not active over here (trying to read it all is daunting!). It'll be me (Melanie), DH (Bryce), DS (Colin, 11), and DD (Amelia, 8). We're toting along behind KayR who is showing me the ropes. We're looking forward to it!!!

I know Roger and Coral are looking at the ruins excursions as well and I'm hoping we manage to get on the same ones

It is a bit hard to pick the excursions now because there are discrepancies between the scheduled port times and the lengths of the excursions on the DCL site. When the first couple Fantasy cruises go we'll be able to see if those port times are accurate or not, but that won't help with picking excursions now

I have been to Hawaii several time but the ladies I am traveling with have never been so we are doing the typical sightseeing items - helicopter tour, airplane tour, Pearl Harbor tour, luau, and island tour.

My DH didn't want to go again so it's a girl trip! I can't wait!!!

Sounds terrific. We loved Hawaii when we went there. It has such a rich culture.
