My son is completely back to himself, I was surprised how fast he recovered. usually it takes him a good two weeks or so before he feels better.
Our plans for the day was I decided to take DH over to the Richard Petty driving school & let him go around the track a few times. It was a late Father's Day gift.
Well, since Mother Nature had a plan of her own, DH could not get out on the track since it was too wet.
We went over to Magic Kingodm then. The first thing we did was saw all the characters on Town Sqaure. We had a BALL running to all the different lines. My son got so many autographs, it was a lot of fun.
We spent about 2 hours right in that area meeting characters
Afterwards he headed over to Adventureland & did a few rides over there. My son loves Pirates of the Caribbean
There we also met up with Capitain Hook & Mr. Smee. Which really made my son's day.
We then headed over to catch the "Share the Dream" Parade. That is a wonderful parade.
After the parade we had to head over to Grand Floridian for supper at 1900 Park Faire. We took the Monorail & we were able to ride in the front. My son was in Awe since he loved riding the Monorail. The supper was wonderful, everyone ate themselves silly. I love the Chilled Strawberry "soup" That was WONDERFUL! We met the Prince, Cinderella, and the two mice (Suzy & Perla) everyone was wonderful except Cinderella, she just seemed a little off to me. The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby & when we met her there was no one else there so she spent quite a bit of time with my son. She was really sweet.
After supper we headed back to the Magic Kingdom & saw Spectomagic parade. Wonderful parade. I don't understand why they don't always run this parade. We really enjoyed it.
We also stayed for the fireworks. We never did see Tinkerbell 'fly' I don't know if we were just looking in the wrong place or what but no one in our party ever saw her.
It was a very long day so we were beat when we finally got back to the resort!
