Tomorrow is the first day of July!!! That was fast! I will get us started after church. For now let’s line up our volunteer hosts.

Saturday morning the gal who was thinking of putting together a community Buy Nothing event posted it would be on Sunday, so Saturday afternoon I spent filling up the car with things to re-home. I was feeling proud of myself for clearing out so much, then this morning it occurred to me that I might be bringing some back, if no one wanted it. So, I spent several hours today organizing and cleaning the shed and back porch, mostly to take advantage of having the open space to work in for a while. I just went down to retrieve my leftovers and I'm thrilled to say that I came back with just one box of odds and ends. Hallelujah! To celebrate I'm going to clean myself up and then go to the afternoon showing of Inside Out 2.

Ended up at the fundraiser last night. Food was not as good years past but the company was lovely (an old friend plus one of her friends and then we ran into the friends neighbors) so the six of us sort of stuck together all night. Then today was our first pool day of the year at my in-laws. It was cut short by rain but we had a good time while we were there.
