Folks, the June movie list is out early (guess all the Disney folks were talking long vacations over Memorial Day weekend).

Fires are lit at 730pm, the Chip & Dale singalong starts at 8pm, and the movie rolls about 840pm.

Let's give a big thanks to our poster madonna3. :thumbsup2 Bama Ed

Thanks for posting this every month Boma Ed. Even though my sister and I will
not be at The Fort until September I like seeing what the possibilities will be. Don't think anyone wants to be around watching two 60 plus year old women crying during Dumbo!

I understand completely, FWC. I cry every time "Apple Dumpling Gang" comes around in the movie rotation.

Don Knotts and Tim Conway STILL own me. :rotfl2:

Bama Ed

PS - although ADG rarely comes up in the rotation any more.

To save on having so many stickys I thought we could have 1 June thread for everything. We are anxiously awaiting the June reports and pics.

Thanks to Ed!

WOW! Do you know if beach yacht club june is up yet?

Anderson, I tried to pull up the Y&B Club list but it didn't come up so I must not have the right code. I can get other resorts for June now like the Contemporary and Poly but not that one.

Sorry. I tried.

Bama Ed

PS - I'm sure it will be available on June 1 or 2 through whatever normal channels you check. I usually pull and post the Fort list on the 1st because it's one of the rare resorts that runs the movie and singalong EVERY night.

THANK YOU!!! I will keep checking around closer to the 1st. :-)

:thanks: Bama Ed & Madonna3! My itinerary spreadsheet now includes movie titles for each night of our trip :yay:

Ed, let me see the raw link you used. I need to compare it to the last link I used to see where the change was to grab that date code

Edit: Nevermind. I see it's the one we still have been using which points to only what's available in the current directory.

Are they still doing marshmallows at the campfires? Does one need to bring their own "sticks"?

Yes, you can still roast marshmallows or I've even brought hot dogs (but that requires more patience plus buns and condiments). You can bring your own sticks or they sell long reach wooden sticks at the Conestoga Wagon (concession stand) behind the bleachers for a nominal fee (something like 75 cents). Just snap it in half and throw it in the fire when you are done.

Thank you!

Thanks Bama Ed,

We are going to WCG to visit the week of July 4th, is there a location to see the old campground railroad tracks?

I was fortunate enough to get an original poster (same as is in the Outpost Office) and wanted a picture to mount with the the poster.

I can PM you some information but in order to receive/send a PM you have to have at least 10 posts and as of now you only have 4. It's not a huge secret where tracks still are but still the less spread over the Net again and again, the fewer people will be tromping in the woods causing Disney to do something to shut it down.

So get to 10 posts then send me a PM.

Bama Ed

PS - cool about the poster. Wish I could get one or a high resolution duplicate.

Thanks bama_ed,

I am trying to find a high res copier to have a backup...just in case... I am not sure weather to frame a copy if it is good enough
to prevent fading of the original...laminate?

The person we purchased it from had 3...we bought 1 and I left the others for someone who would like to have a copy....
20/20 guess I should have bought the others. I don't chat to much on any forums but will try to get to 10.....
I would also like to have a spike split and mounted in the frame, I think one of the origional engineers of the train may help.

Thanks again

if you don't mind my asking, Tow-Mater, did you buy your poster recently? What vendor or website?

We purchased it 10-12 years ago while we were looking at some Wilderness Lodge table center pieces from a
friend that worked at Disney for some time. We are interested in Wilderness Lodge decorations as it is our
favorite hotel on property.
