June 2011 Family and Friends Together

We are two families traveling together for the first time. There is a total of 9 of us going. Both families have been to WDW before.

We are staying offsite at Windsor Palms. We had a house at Windsor Hills but the owner sold her house and new the owners would not honor our reservation. That's okay, we found a better deal with a house at Windsor Palms, so all is good.

Our Dates June 18- June 25
Tickets: 6day PH with WaterFun and More

Here are our tentative plans. I think it's pretty good but would love to hear what others think/suggestions.

Arrival Day by 2pm

mostly going for parade and Wishes that night
but I'm sure the guys will want to ride rides

6/19
AK (first time for my kids)
hope to see everything, if not we have another chance later in the week

I have 2 options for this day

#1 take swimsuits and head over to WP from 2-5

Now on this day, DH and I will be going to EPCOT after Dinner. In the last two trips we never make it France, UK and Canada and I'm determined to go this time. The other family will watch our kids. We will pay them back the next night.

Hey Ash,

Thanks for subbing. I'm not the best writer and will do my best. I've got my bider all set up and I was up the other night from 2-6am working on the Intinerary because I couldn't sleep. I will post a more detailed day-by-day and see what you think.

This trip all started at the pool this past Summer. My friend and I and our families are members of the same pool and just started talking about going on vacation together, nothing serious just talk. And over several days we discussed the beach, the mountains, the beach. What about Disney? We all like Disney. So then a plan started to form. We would have to wait until summer 2011 because we have older children and it's harder to pull them out of school than when they were younger with homework and all.

So, now we started looking at dates. What about right after school gets out? What about a week later? Other family wants to visit family in FL while they are there. They will go ahead of us a couple days. All these questions and we finally decided on 6/18-6/25 with the other family leaving on 6/15 to visit family. We picked these days because of possible snow make up days at the end of year which pushes back exams to the last day of school whenever that is. And it looks like as of right now we will be using those snow make up days, we have 4 to make up and we still have February to deal with, so we are glad we pushed the days back to after the snow make up days.
