June 17, 2016 - Magic goes to Norway and Iceland from Dover

Just booked the Character Breakfast on day 5 at 9:45am, the Princess Gathering on day 7 and Anna and Elsa on day 12. Dear hubbie is "thrilled" but it is my birthday on the 17th so he will put up with me. No kids with us, someone has to take care of my furry child.(well, I am the big kid in the family). I hope Merida is one of the princesses. She is my favorite!! See you all onboard~ I am excited and nervous for our first trip to Europe.

So, we are on our way! Stop for a few hours in Vancouver, Canada, and then on to Paris to begin our adventure! I have stll not gotten confirmation from Dizlover17 about our FE. I guess everyone can just see if they confirm before everyone leaves for our cruise. Sorry about that. Everyone else on our FE master list is confirmed. Our stateroom # is 2570. Ok, quick question just to make sure I have it correctly. There seem to be 2 (us & one other) latecomer families & there are 7 others from the first FE group willing to join our group too. If I counted correctly that makes a total, including us, of 18 adults & 11 children... Right? I just want to make sure we do this right & have fun with it. We leave in3 days for Paris & I haven't even packed us yet!!! So stressed but so much more excited!!!!!

Yay, so glad you found this! I will update our post. So you will be exchanging with all of the people on the bottom of our master FE list on page 13, post 253. Hope this all makes sense. I am so glad you are able to join on your first cruise. I was so worrried that we would not get in contact because I knew you were hoping to be able to join our group. Do you have a stateroom number yet. Please post it if you have one. It makes it easier to deliver your gifts. Otherwise we will drop them off with guest services to get them to you.

We have spent the last three days in Paris with amazing weather. I hope it is good for you as well. Do not miss the big ferris wheel in the Place de la Concorde. It was erected for the millenium, and is usually only in Paris now in the winter. It is here now because of the world soccer tournament that is going on all over France. We just got back from a concert in Ste. Chapelle. It was beautiful. We walked up the first two stories of the Eiffel Tower. For some reason, the top level was closed. I sure hope it was not for security reasons. You see a lot of changes for that. Extra police, armed service members, and even armored vehicles around town. They also have the bottom of the Eiffel Tower completely fenced off with security check point to get near it. So sad. But you do feel a little safer.

We get to spend tomorrow at Disneyland Paris. The kids still do not know yet! Then we are off to London for a few days before making our way to Dover for the big day! Can not wait for that!

You can do per person or per cabin, depending on how you are doing gifts. Do what makes sense for you, but, yes, you are understanding the list that you will be part of.

That's so disappointing - so sorry. My FE gift are individual but packaged together as one cabin. You can keep Jana's or pass on to her! It's small in size so won't take up any room in your luggage.

You can consider us a group of four. The baby doesn't need any FE gifts and my husband and I can share. We are just happy to be included in the FE.

Honestly, we are good with anything. We're just excited about meeting new people. I'm not much of a gift receiver. I'm the type I would rather give.

Who else has arrived in Dover? We're in the Premier Inn and it's very busy, full of excited families. Can't help but think there's a lot of us heading out for the Magic tomorrow. Our view of the cruise pier!

4:43 am. In six hours, we will take the plane to Dover! I guess we will be the last group to leave home. Still having many small stuff to pack. Fingers cross for the security checking line in Amsterdam won't be too ridiculous (the staff were on a strike before). Fingers cross for our little ones won't be sick when they wake up (my biggest fear). So nervous! See you on board everyone!!!
