June 10, 2013 - 7 Day Alaskan Cruise on Disney Wonder

FE's are done, and we are 20% packed, lol! (one person is 90% packed so i guesstimated) but laundry is almost done so the rest of the packing can get going.

i still have two more projects to go before we can leave tho...eek!

We have 1 suitcase packed, some clothes still to wash, and some final shuttle details to confirm......We packed our FE gifts. I just put cabin numbers on the ones from our cabin and our girls cabin. We are looking for sunshine in Seattle!! We'll see you in a week.

The Alexander family has moved and added a few. We decided to bring my parents, Bill and Dolly, with us on the cruise. We needed to move rooms to do this and now are located in 6150. I can't seem to find my parents room number right now but they are close.

Looking forward to the cruise! My mom is telling me she can't sleep, seeing Alaska is a lifelong desire of hers so we are so thankful that we have the opportunity to see it with her.

I guess we will see everyone soon!

Just seeing that my daughter Ashleigh is in question on the group list. So, it total for the Alexanders we now have myself, James, my wife, Heather, Ashleigh, and my parents Bill and Dolly.

speaking only for myself, my fe's are finished so i unfortunately don't have anything for your parents. tho i'm not sure if they are planning at this late date to even participate. thank you for letting us know about ashleigh.

you might want to put a sticky note on room 8000's door that you are now in room 6150. i can also leave a note on my door, and if banks fam sees this maybe shawn can as well.

i've made the changes on the spreadsheet.

james, it was late when i posted, hope i didn't sound harsh. room changes sometimes even happen at the port, i was just trying to find ways to make sure you get the stuff people have for you.

also, i had it pointed out to me that there was a problem with my totals on the spreadsheet, here is what i posted on Facebook...

...just a heads up that my totals weren't right for the kids/teens. i apologize. i didn't use those numbers so it was just now caught by someone who WAS using them. sorry!! i've changed the spreadsheet. it's still 107 total, 72 adults but the kids are 11 girls (12 if you count Alexanders' daughter ashleigh) and 14 boys for the same total of 26 kids. the teens stay the same as well at 7 teen girls and 2 teen boys. sorry!!

Well, this will most likely be my final post pre-trip. We are packing the car as we speak! We will be heading to a friends house in St Louis tomorrow morning to spend the day and then he will be taking us to the airport Sunday morning. Safe travels for all of you. We began our meet & greet prep in April of last year. It has finally arrived! We look forward to meeting all of you. One quick reminder: It says on the on the cruise itinerary that the desk party begins at 4:15pm. This may mean that the boat drill time has changed from prior cruises. Remember that our meet and greet was tentatively set for 3pm at the Promenade Lounge but that time may have to move based on the time of the mandatory boat drill. ***So that actual time will be one hour prior to the boat drills.*** See you on the ship!!!!!!

We got home last evening (Wednesday). We stayed over for a few days. We had a wonderful time and ALL of the FE gifts were just great. I forgot to take a picture of them all together, but we had a good time delivering them (and receiving them). My granddaughters were thrilled with what they received. Everyone was so kind to them and of course that made me happy. Our servers and room host were excellent. (And, we said so on our comment card!)

Just returned to California! Had a great time on the cruise and in Vancouver. Thanks to all for including us "late comers" to the FE experience. The girls (Courtney, Mikayla, and Riley ) couldn't wait to pass out FE gifts and were so excited to share all their goodies they received. You were all very generous . Thank you

Home. Thank you everyone for all of the FE gifts! It was so much fun to come back to all of the surprises. Our other cabins had a great introduction to Disney cruises and the DISBoard meets - and re-booked! Whoo hoo!!!

I would like to thank all of you for an amazing experience. We had a great time with the Fish Extenders, seeing all of you around the boat, even after the cruise in Vancouver. Thanks for all of the "Wonder"ful gifts. We loved em and it has given us more ideas for our next cruise in the Bahamas. Thanks for all the help in organizing the group. I know I'm really late, but thank you everyone for your wonderful gifts! I am still eating candy like it's Halloween again. Just finished my bag of jelly bellies and i'm sad now, because there's no more... And thank you for taking out the cinnamon flavours! (if that was done on purpose)
