It is up to 35 today and they are having a heat wave.

I just went to Linda's basement and that place is cold. I came back upstairs.

Her house is beautiful. We are getting ready for the Disney Cruise Party tonight. Have you guys kept up with it??

There were 1,107 parties scheduled. They have already given out 2 4-day cruises to two of the hosts out of 1,107.

Some more are being given out to those guests who registered.


Hurry up and go in sign up for one of the free cruises.


We just made mickey krispy bars. So very yummy - and now I know how to make them. SO VERY SIMPLE.

Way to get us back "on board", Kay!

I have spent a great part of this day trying to make a list of all of Christine's "accomplishments, honors, school & community involvement" for the last 3 years, for her high school applications. Fortunately, we have been blogging for about 5 years, so I have it, but I have to read through it all. It's taking much longer than I thoguht.
Most of you have children younger than Christine. Please start on their "resumes" NOW! It will save you a lot of work later!

I'm taking advantage of a captive audience to brag a little. TJ was in a music competition yesterday. The kids received a score of 1-4, 1 being best. TJ got a 1. You can enjoy the last practice performance before he went on stage.

Good MONDAY!

We're up early. . .don't know why. . .walked 1 1/2 miles with DH this a.m. . . I'm gearing up for the heart stress test next week. . .I'm dreading that thing!

Good weekend for us. . .sorted out the list of project Stacy has for school. . .finished one and turning it in today! Now we have a poem to learn, the Gettysburg Address to memorize, a book report done like a flip chart, a heart with a musical person on it and facts about them and extra reading for Accelerated Reader. . .and then just regular daily school work. . .

Marion. . .still working on the WDW thing for May. . .I've mentioned it. . .got a smile response. . .waiting for more from DH!

I'm busy & it sounds like everyone else is too. Liam's got a lot of projects too lately in ADDITION to the everyday work.

I can't believe I'm going to Disney in 9 days!

oh man - I am totally swamped with my e-bay.

working the poll tomorrow - llloonnngg day for me. it sure will test me.

Have to BE THERE by 5:30 and can't leave until everything is finished and I have to tally up everything and break down the machines and wait for SOE to come and pick everything up.

Ok...it was 71 this afternoon and now it is 19 with 40 mile wind gusts and snow!!! EEEKKK!! Now they are saying we are going to get at least 6 in. of snow thurs and Fri. I need to move somewhere warmer!!!!! To top it all off...our phone is not working and they say they will hve it fixed by Thurs by 8 p.m. Yuck!!!!

Hi everyone..... it sure was a roller coaster of weather yesterday. I walked for 45 minutes around the zoo with no coat, then after lunch.... the winds were so bad - you would have thought a tornado was immenent. Then I get in my car to drive home and I go from temps in the high 40's to temps in the low 30's in the course of a half hour drive... I go from sun to grey storm clouds and even snow in the same trip!!!! You gotta love St. Louis... as they say.... if you don't like the weather wait and few minutes and it will change.... no kidding! I am actually keeping my fingers crossed that we have the big snow they are predicting on Thurs. night/Friday morning- I could use a snow day off!!!

Yeh!!!! I can't believe without talking we are staying at the same place at the same time!!!!!

The weather was weird. I do hope we get a snow day...except Kirkwood hardly ever gets one.......Fingers crossed.

EVERYONE should work the polls just one time only.

What an experience.

Some people wake up mad with the world and take it out on everyone when they go to the wrong place and it is clearly marked where they are supposed to go. And other stupid reasons. I had to get up one time and go get the Sheriff 'cause one idiot wanted to vote "on paper" 'cause he didn't trust the machines.

DUH - well, no more paper voting for a lloonngg time. I didn't argue w/anyone, I just said excuse sme and left and got the appropriate person to handle it.

The day went by real fast and it was steady all day. No long long lines hardly at anytime. Our precinct had only 50% of the voters turn out.

I sure learned a lot about how the voting works, tho. The public would surely be surprised.........................:

Snow Day here...very happy kids and teacher!!!!!It is a shame in some ways though because the big Mardis Gras parade in downtown will be quite a mess. Not a problem for me, I am staying in and enjoying the beautiful sights!!!

Kim- was at a training all day yesterday. I will check my calendar and get back with you today!!

SNOW DAY HERE!!!!! even though it really didnt need it!!! oh well im NOT complaining!

i couldnt find our thread for the life of me..thank goodness i finally did!

today i slept in a bit and went to the mall with my friends. it was really fun....anyone have "the body shop"? it is GREAT! its got all things natural and i even got my friend her birthday present there [her feet are in bad shape so i got her some foot stuff hehe]

i also met with my pastor and talked about confirmation this year...

last night and tonight i had/have a performance at a church's arts gala. we got to dress up and look at some cool art and then eat hor durves (spelling??) and then dance! it was very fun! i hope all goes well tonight.

good morning everyone - hope your week was a good one.

for all that are in the bad weather, snuggle up and stay warm and safe.

My week was hectic. Big screen TV died on me - I bit the bullet and went out and got another one. What the heck - my TIVO'd movies is all I watch anymore and I can't live w/o them. haha

Got a nice 52" Sony. had the stand delivered yesterday and my BIL put it together for me and the tV is coming today at Noon. Direct TV is going to upgrade me to HD on Wednesday and I'll be all set. I figured why not go to HD now w/the complete change. It better last for the rest of my life !!!!

I leave next Saturday for another 4 day cruise on the Wonder. This time I used some of my DVC points. I have about 700 to use this next year.

Then Linda and I go back on the Wonder on 2/28 and I'll be onboard for my 64th b/day. She is flying into Ft. Lauderdale the day before and I'll pick her up.

Hope eveyrone has a great day. I'll have Kaitlyn today so she will keep me busy.
