I am excited to go to DL and go see the debut of WoC.

My DA and I left Sacramento at 8 am and on a 7 hour trip to Anaheim. It was a really nice sunny day when we left Sacramento and when we got to Anaheim, it was a little bit cloudy, but was a nice day. It was around 3 pm when we got to Anaheim.

We head on in to our hotel at the BWPPI (my favorite hotel off site) and check-in to our double bedroom on the 2nd floor. Then we decided to go over to DL, for a few minutes so I can renew my AP.

Luckily, I brought my GAD voucher and applied it my AP. When we got to the park, my DA decided to go to the ESPN Zone and get a table before the NBAfinals start. Ip walked into DL and it was a typical average day during the summer, while it is not crowded, but it was a little busy.

Then I head over to the plaza pavilion and I was about to renew my AP with
the voucher and was told that I need to redeem my voucher at the ticket booth.then I just head on out of the park and redeem myGAD voucher and got a one day ticket and my GAD pin. I head on back to the park and went back to the AP center and applied my GAD ticket ($72) and my renewal discount ($20) and saved $92 on my Premium AP.

After getting my AP, I decided to walk around the park before I headed over to the ESPN Zone. I walked over Frontierland and then head on over to NOS railroad station. I got to ride on the Fred Gurley with the Holiday 2 car set and must rode it around until I got to Tomorrowland. Then I over to the monorail station and head overt DTD.

When I got out at theDTD monorail station, my reservation to the ESPN Zone was ready and my DA and I got to eat in the screening room. We got around 530 and were ready to watch the Lakers play the Celtics in the NBA finals.

When the game between the lakers and the celtics are over, we decided to head back to the hotel, until we decided to go to the world of Disney store and check out the WoC products. I was surprised they have some products out, but that was for the general public. They also had the exclusive AP WoC pin at the store.

This was a long day and we head back over to the hotel. Then we went to bed early so we can get up early to get WoC FP.

I am currently in the park with my DA to get FP. We have been here since 5 am in the morning.

Day 2 for the debut of WoC.

My DA and I got up around 5 am in the morning and we got dressed up and head over to DLR and get in line for WoC.

When we got to the bus loading station station on the east side of the DLR, we saw that the line was on the back side of the former timon and pumba tram loading station. There was at least 200+ people already in-line when we got here.

When we got in-line, the CM gave out color wrist bands to the guests who are here to see WoC. It was too bad that the CM said that anyone of your party doesn't show up and get a wrist band, they won't get a FP. They won't even let the guests who come late and someone from their party is already in line, they won't let guests cut up without a wrist band.

I am currently in-line and will do my report later during the day.

Than we started moving up in the line just a few time so they could get everyone in line for FP. Than it was around 7 am in the morning, the CM opened the security line and we are about to go into DCA.

We got to go in DCA around 7:20 am. It was a little bit earlier than I expected. We all walked up DCA entrance and we were in a line towards Baker's Bakery and than towards Soarin. We than head on over to GRR and they already set up a line for the WoC FP. The line was on the backside of the FP.

We got our FP, and we got the 9 pm show and got the blue section for the show.

While we are still in the park, we headed on over to Soarin and just walked on. After Soarin, we head over to Greeting from California store and got in line to buy the AP exclusive merchandise for WoC. We bought jackets, t-shirt, AP WoC exclusive pin, and a LE WoC coin. It was a nice experience to get the AP exclusive merchandise. While the park was not open entirely, more and more people came to DCA while DL was still not open around 8 am.

When it was around 9 am, we decided to go over to DL for awhile. The park was really busy this morning when we walked in. Most of the big rides like Splash, Indy, and Space were at least 50 min later during the afternoon. While most of the park is crowded, we head on back to DCA around 11 am and went to try to get on TSMM, but the line was already at an hour wait, and we were hoping to see the WoC viewing area, the media that got to see WoC last night were still there. Than we went on MFW and got to see the viewing area as well as TLMR and Cars Land in construction.

After MFW, we decided to rest up for tonight for the debut of WoC.

Part 2 of the day will be told later.

Wow. I hope you really enjoy it!!

My DA and I just got back from the debut of WoC for the 1st show and it was great. We are glad to see the show during its debut.

Here is my 2nd part of my day on WoC opening day.

It was around 4 pm and my DA and I decided it was time to go to DCA and get in line for WoC. We headed out of the hotel and I was carrying all my camcorder equipment to get ready for the show.

We got to DCA around 415 and we headed on over to Paradise Pier and to the viewing area. They had a barricade towards the entrance and the CM are telling people that have FP to do something else instead of waiting. But most of the people did not move or do something else. We decided to go to dinner before we get in line. Earlier during the day, they were a lot of people lining up for the WoC picnic package right next to WCT on the left side.

My DA and I ate at Pacific Wharf and had the clam chowder bread bowls.

Than it was around 6 pm, and there were even more people lining up for the show. The CM told everyone who has a FP ticket that there is a certain area that they will be going by the color of the FP. Ours were blue and before we enter the viewing area, it is the closest to the entrance of the viewing area.

When they let people in the viewing area, there were a lot of people pushing just to get in and we got pushed in to some other families and were irate about it, but what are we suppose to do when other people push to get in. When we got to the viewing area, we got the 2nd tier level for the blue section and were close to the railings. We got to the viewing area around 7:30 pm.

When the WoC was about to start in 30 min, DCA did a pre-show party was a couple of CM and also the larger than life carnival style puppets. Then it was show time for WoC. It was outstanding and was worth all that time of getting up early in the morning for FP and coming back later to get a decent spot for the viewing area.

When the show was over, we decided to just go back to the room and get ready for the morning. When we got to the exit, we watch Magical from the main entrance of DCA. When we saw Magical, it uses more fireworks than last years and it looked way better. After Magical was over, we headed back to our room and called it for the night. As of right now, I am writing my TR from my room.

I am looking forward to tomorrow since we will be doing Ariel's Grotto dining package for WoC tomorrow. I also like to thank the guests who were there during the 1st show told us about the dining package.

I will show pictures of the viewing area later.

Sounds great. I am pleased to hear that it was so good.

Here are some of the pics from the viewing area that we had to wait to get in and waiting in the viewing area.

That's not bad. Out of curiosity how early did you have to get in line to wait for you FP?

That's not bad. Out of curiosity how early did you have to get in line to wait for you FP?

We got there 5 am, but there were people already there before us. I heard that someone was there since 9pm on Thursday.

Day 3 of our DL trip.

Luckily, my DA and I didn't have to get up early in the morning to get WoC FP since we did it the other night and have bought the dining package for WoC. We got up early in the morning to do our morning rides in the morning at DL.

We got up 7 am and got dressed and head over to Captain Kidd's restaurant and got the continental breakfast. Than we head on over to DL and at the DCA entrance, there were people already waiting at the entrance. I would have guess that they are there for WoC FP (well duh).

We got in when the park opened at 8 am and it was a usual quiet morning with most of the rides are fewer than 10 min on all the rides.

We went to Tomorrowland and rode FNSV, BLAB in just less than 30 min. We also got SM FP. Than we decided to go over to Adventureland and got on Indy, we only had to wait 10 min to get on. We rode POTC and head on back to SM and use our FP. After SM, we went to see EO.

Than the park began to be crowded around 10 pa and we decided to head on over to DCA and get in line for TSMM. We waited around 35 min to get on TSMM. After TSMM, we got on MFW to see all around the park and one day we saw all the media at the WoC viewing area, today it was back to normal with guests in the viewing area.

After MFW, we went to get something to eat and we ate at Lucky's Fortune Cookery. My DA had the Sesame Chicken and I had the Spicy Korean Beef. She really liked to food at LFC. Than we head over to Mission and got our free corn tortilla.

We went to Blue Sky Cellar and get to see all the new updates for the DCA expansion plan. It was great to see the newly update BSC and talking about the TLMR.

The both of us went back to DL and went to the Main Street Railroad Station and was hoping to get to ride in the Lily Belle, but they aren't allowing guests to ride in the Lily Belle around that time we were there. But they said that they would let people ride in it around 4:30, but we have dinner at AG at 5, so we decided not to ride in the Lily Belle where my DA was disappointed.

After that, we headed over to the opera house to see Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. My DA was so impressed with the newly AA of Mr. Lincoln. She liked it in the early days, and was impressed how it is more realistic than the old one.

It was around 1 pm and we decided to go back to the room and rest up and get ready for dinner at AG so we can get our FP tickets for WoC.

Part 2 of Saturday will be posted later with pics.

thanx for posting this. I was curious about WoC and also the dining package. I look forward to hearing the comparison between the FP process and the dining pkg. We plan on doing the dining pkg when we go in August. I want to spend the least time possible standing and waiting, as I have a hard time standing for too long....

Day 3 of our DL Trip part 2

We went back to the hotel for our usual afternoon break and when it was around 4 pm, we decided it was time to head over to DCA and have our WoC dinner.

We walked out of our hotel at BWPPI and got to DCA. It took about 6 min to get to the park and we head on over to Paradise Pier and to Ariel's Grotto. We got very early around 4:20, but it wasn't time for our dinner so we decided to walk around the park and we check out the viewing area.

Than it was time to have our 5 pm dinner and we got to AG around 4:50. When we got to AG, there were at least 7 or 8 different family groups waiting to have dinner, so I thought we would be there for awhile. We only had to wait around 15 min when the CM led us in the restaurant. We head on downstairs to eat inside.

When we got inside the restaurant, there were around 8 tables that had people eating the appetizers and there was no one outside. I was curious why there were a lot of people upstairs waiting to eat and there were a few tables had people eating.

We started off with nice fresh bread and later on we had the antipasti tower with a different variety of food. Than more and more people started to come into the restaurant and outside. After the antipasti tower, my DA had the Filet of Grilled Redfish and I had the Santa Maria Style Tri-tip. Than after the entrees we had the dessert while it looked like a great piece of art, that we didn't want to eat it but we did and it was nice especially the while chocolate world of color film strip.

After we finished the dessert the CM, brought us the bill and the WoC FP for the dining package. The FP was just like the same as the FP from the FP line at GRR. But this time we did not have to get up early in the morning or wait in a long line to get FP for WoC.

The dining experience at the AG was nice, but I would have wish the entrees would have been a little bit better. When we ate our entrees, they were barely warm and not hot, I wanted my tri-tip to be medium rare, but it was like medium well. I didn't care about that, but I wish the CM asked us how to cook the tri-tip. It almost feels that they cooked this way in advance and served it as it is. I liked the antipasti tower where we can choose a variety of food and the dessert was the best.

My WoC viewing area will be posted later.

Day 3 of our DL Trip part 3

When we finished dinner at Ariel's Grotto at 6:15, we head on out of the restaurant and we head over to the WoC viewing area blockade. Most of the CM told everyone that they don't have to wait at the blockade and do something else in the park. But that was not going to happen where there were at least 25 people waiting at the area waiting to get in and get a good viewing spot.

4698519141_a8845ee8e7.jpg

More and more people came by when it was time to let everyone in and my DA and I were one of the few people to wait at the blockade.

4698573711_dfae35cc7b.jpg

Than around 7 pm, they started to let people who have a FP for the 9 pm show. We didn't even know where our viewing area is when we asked a CM before they let us in and said that the area that we are suppose to go is in the same area as the blue section. I was confused about this because I heard that the dining package is suppose to be in a different section. We got in the same section as the blue people and waited around 20 min until they let people in for the viewing section.

When they let the people in we were going down the walkway toward the viewing section where the blue is until they ask if people have the dining FP and we told them we have it and they moved us to a different tier and the tier we went was tier 4. We were the first ones in the section and we got the stairway front center view and we were excited that no one got here before us.

When the WoC was about to start in 30 min just like the other night, the pre-show party was a couple of CM and also the larger than life carnival style puppets. Then it was show time for WoC. The 2nd time that we watch WoC was way better than the first time since we didn't have anyone in our view.

After WoC, we decided to do a stupid move and try to go to DL and hope to see the 10:30 show of F!. When we are about to leave the viewing area, Magical has already started and we had to move fast in order to get there.

When we got to the exit at DCA, Magical was almost done, but we still tried to do it. There were a lot of people who came out of DCA were heading on over to DL. When we got to the main entrance and walked into the park, Magical was over and almost all the people in DL were heading out or heading over to the roa.

We tried to work our way towards the people. When we finally got through and we went through the Rancho entrance instead of Frontierland entrance. It was around 10:00 when we got to Frontierland and already, most of the viewing area around the roa were occupied. We decided it was not worth it and just went toards the backside of Frontierland and head on over to Fantasyland and walk our way to Tomorrowland and got on the monorail and headed out of the park.

After we got on the monorail, we went over to the World of Disney store to do last minute shopping for the night. Then we headed back to the room and called it for the night.

It was a way better night to see WoC than the other night since we were in front of people while that night, we didn't have anyone in our view.

Wow! Thanks for the great pictures and information. I cannot wait to experience WOC! It's been a long time in the making and I only hope it is just as exciting and magical as it seems to be.

Pics of WoC during the show from blue section and at the tier 2. I have snapshot these pics from my recorded video that I recorded during the show on Friday June 11, 2010 during the 1st show.

Day 4 our last day until we head home.

It was our last day before we head back to Sacramento. We know that we won't be seeing WoC that night and I was hoping to get WoC FP as a souvenir and we were hoping just to get there later and pick the FP later.

We got up very early in the morning around 7 am and got to Captain Kidd's and head on up to get some breakfast. Than when we got something, we head on over to DL and waited a few minutes until the park opened. Again for the 2nd day in a row, there were people already waiting at the DCA main entrance to get into the park and get FP tickets for WoC.

DL was empty like always when we get there at 8 am in the morning and we head on over to Adventureland and walked onto Indy, than we head on over to Splash and walked on. Later during the day around 8:40, we decided to head on the DLRR at NOS station and rode the Ernest S. Marsh with the Excursion car set and head on over to the Tomorrowland Station and went to ride FNSV. After that, we headed on over to the Tomorrowland monorail station and rode around the the whole way until it was time to go over to DCA. When we finished the monorail ride, we head on out of DL and went to the DCA main entrance around 9:30.

When we got there, there was already a long line going toward the GRR. The line was already at Soarin when we went to Condor Flats. I was not surpised to see all the people lined up for WoC FP. Thanwe decided to go over to the blockade to Paradise Pier and waited to go on TSMM.

When it was 10 and all the park was about to be open, there were a bunch of people, more than I normally see to go to TSMM, but we were able to get by most of the crowd and just have to wait 15 min to get on TSMM.

When we finished that, it was almost about time to head back home to Sacramento. So we went to Boudin Bakery and went through the tour and we went to Pacific Wharf and bought sourdough bread and mickey bread to bring back to my parents.

Than it was time to leave and we walked GRR to see how the line was going. When we got to GRR, the line was already still at Soarin and luckily we didn't have to be in line for FP around that time at 10:45.

4701545379_450a09c233.jpg

We head on out of the park and got all our stuff from the hotel and we were about to go home with WoC products and excited to be there during the debut of WoC.

It was a great experience and a bad time since we went to see the first two night of WoC and having the bad experience of getting push and shoved during the first night of WoC.
