Had a wonderful time! I will attempt a trip report soon. Our last afternoon we were just sitting on a bench on Main Street having a coffee and people watching (trying to work up the strength to leave Disneyland for our last time this trip), I thought to myself--we didn't get "Dreamed" like I had so hoped, but really we did--Lorealle somehow was able to get us a Disney View room and we watched the fireworks show just after we had arrived on Sunday night. I was born in Anaheim and lived there until I was 15 years old. In the summer we used to get up on our roof with a bowl of popcorn and watch the fireworks. This brought back many fond memories (and a few tears!). Michael Maldonado from Live Tickets/Anaheim provided us with deeply discounted Disneyland Hoppers and his service was impeccable. Our Hoppers were waiting at HoJo's upon check-in and payment was pain free as we just left it for Michael at the HoJo's front desk. Thanks to our June Photopass share (especially Tami for managing the details), we probably wouldn't have done it for the money we would have had to spend. Also, all the amazing tips I learned here on Disboards made my husband finally understand the time I spent here planning and obsessing!
So, it was with those happy thoughts of gratitude to the above mentioned that I got up with a smile on my face, ready to bravely leave when a nice lady approached us with a Dream Pass for reserved front seats to see Billy Hill and the Hillbillies! We passed the Golden Horseshoe Saloon a few times, but were always on our way somewhere and didn't even stop to see the times. Well, we did come back for the 5:15 show. I think my husband did it a bit grudgingly, but boy, did we enjoy that show! I laughed until I cried! My daughter has been walking around the house today spouting lines from the show . . . "My Daddy's name was Ferdinand, my Momma's name was Lizza. . .
Too funny and were we ever glad we went!!
Thanks again to everyone here at the Disneyland forum, Lorealle at HoJo's, Michael Maldonado from Live Tickets/Anaheim, and the June photopass share group--especially Tami!
